I love how watching something like this makes your hair stand!

more like NIGHTMARE.  I was at a show and both of my recording devices has NO BATTERY POWER!  She even came off the stage and was doing impromptu meet and greet actually have full conversations with the people.  It almost felt like it was a private party with her friends that I (and my mother...) some how got in to it.  When she came around to me, I barely said two words so she was off talking with others.
Don't you just hate it when she dream snubs you? :-/

I hope people don't get the idea that she's against it. I think she made it clear in one of her interviews that it's just her. I think it's more about the pressure of society and that when you reach a particular age people start analyzing you and trying to figure out what's wrong with you if your not married.

Believe me, I'm an Indian and I know marriage for us is like supposed to be all that and stuff... But I always thought being a Catholic and being brought up in another country it'd make a difference still I've been asked the question: "Why don't you have a girlfriend? There must be something wrong no?". I'm 24 and chronically a-relationship-al(a derivative of asexual - Will Grayson, will grayson... anyone?). I agree with Vanessa on this point. I dont wanna fuckin be a groom. As of now sometimes the thought of having to live with someone because momentarily for a while you are in "LOVE" with the person you feel like you wanna live the rest of your life with them is sometimes just suffocating.

My sister is on this crazy hunt for a guy cos shes like 27 and I feel sorry for her. All that I see her doing is getting frustrated!!! It's sad.

But as I said, I am not against it. Someday I'm gonna be staring at a beautiful woman walking down the aisle and am gonna be laughing at this emo take on marriage thread post in my head.

And I feel that someday Vanessa IS going to settle down. I don't think she means she's NEVER going to be a bride. I believe it's just what she feels now. It's a combination of failed relationships and probably the pressure of being 30...

She doesn't wanna be a bride but it doesn't mean that she never will be one one day.

Just imo.

I dunno... Do You hear what I hear sounds different... I mean its something else all together. Something that I LIKE. I'm curious to know what is sounds like now...

Funny how a holiday song is about worshiping grave stones and witch doctors eh? :P It's only now that I think about it, its a holiday EP. It doesn't have to be Christmasey or any other festival-ey... Its supposed to be about the season... I LOVE how she isn't cliched (like singing about kissing someone under the mistletoe)

Also, I LOVE how everyone is already judging the entire EP from the few seconds that they've heard from it.

And I don't think this is the end for Rabbits. There's the bride video to look forward to.
(And I'm secretly hoping that she get's a Grammy nod)

This is so weird talking about Christmas songs and V. It reminds me of that introduction Stevie gave to Vanessa when they dueted Carousel. Stevie was talking about how V spent the holidays with her and when she asked her to play a holiday song, she said she didn't know any.

Well, now she has an entire EP to answer to that. ;-)

Is anyone thinking that the War is Over cover will have the children's choir again?

Exactly what I was thinking.

At least she's never going to be broke now! I LOVE this song (I mean the song as performed by Vanessa and NO ONE ELSE. I secretly liked that Chris Brown version cos it was DIFFERENT. But everyone else just doesn't live up to the mark.)

So... I can has another song about vampires? :P

I dunno.. But I am RELIEVED.

I was so freaking out when I saw those pics of her in Central Park and was like Oh shit! Is this what the vids gonna be about? Just her singing around and so blah and random!!! But when I got the tweet last night... I HAVE to say I am sooo effin happy.

That song is blood EPIC. It's gotta have one helluva video yo!

I love the idea of using sound cloud to release these covers. She gives us stuff and is not exactly having to face copyright issues.

I love how its sometimes not about the MONEY with her. It's her and the MUSIC.

I kinda appreciated the take on it... This song is normally swallowed in the awesomeness that is the riff. The 'take' on this one was different.

Dunno. Ignoring the fact that he's a bitch enough to hit a woman, I appreciate the effort to not use the riff at all.

Really gotta get this one. Habibi by craig thompson. Really. Gotta.
Wow. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the word "Habibi".(That's the closest she'll ever get to Dubai :P)
She reads graphic novels? AWESOME.
But aptly timed... Ya know... Being Eid and all...

I thought this was deja vu, because there is another thread with THE EXACT SAME TOPIC:

Unless you count articles (aka a,an and the), then maybe not EXACT.

Firstly either she is really TANNED or those English girls are ghostly pale.

And they bob too much. It was kinda weird. You know...The bobbing.

But I really dont care. It was Vanessa. And it was frackin' BRIDE. And it had a choir and Vanessa was all sweaty (and kinda excited don't you think?) When she ran from the choir to the piano... And then when the kings bit started she put her hands in the air like she at gun point... And then she smiled like a bunny in the end. So. damn. cute.

Oh and Ari looked so SEXY in this performance. Why are they not dating? (Because they wrote a song about Vanessa not wanting to be a bride) Kinda attracted to this guy in a weird-You so hot you play with V- kinda way ;)

Completely Off-Topic / Re: That time of year again...

I hate all you kids. I'm into my third year as a "working adult" and I MISS SCHOOL SO BLOODY BADLY.

I wanna turn back time.

(This is very synonymous to the lyrics of Carousel "Time won't wait and you'll be late... White Rabbits on the run" or More Than This "e sail through our youth so impatiently".)

This is the bestest news ever.

Ow and if she brings the choir!!!

I think I may have an orgasm just thinking about this!!!!!!!!!
