Live Shows / Re: 2011 Fall tour with Matt Nathanson

yeah, not real excited about this. We'll see. I didn't go to any with that JR dude either. But I am in need of an EC trip. We'll see.
You have no idea how much I hate that JR (Joshua Radin I believe?) guy. He has a new song and all I can think of is how badly his fans behaved at those concerts.
Eerily, JRs new song gets me confused with Matt Nathanson's new song. Very dopple ganger-ish.

This "Matt Nathanson" guy has actually some really good songs that I secretly love. Check out "Come on get high" and "Car Crash".

I love the lyrics of the latter. It was very relatable at a particular time. He's a pretty good artist. Def check him out.

Ikr? I mean in one of her interviews she actually said this: "Well, when I head to and from ballet class – hopping on subways and trudging up rind covered concrete stairs – I like to throw on an easy peasy flowy dress and roper boots." (Source: FashionSpot interview)

Totally reminds me of Natalie in the subway and going to and from ballet!

Tsk. People whining about the number of copies.

There were NONE at a Virgin Megastore in this coutry  :-\

And @ the person who said that they wanna hear Vanessa on the radio.

I second that.

Haha... I know that feeling. I was reading this book called 'Will Grayson, Will Grayson' last week and it was just SO GOOD. I mean I was reading it at every waking hour I had.

I love books that you have difficulty putting down.

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Re: Vanessa at Grammy Camp.
« on: August 11, 2011, 08:40:10 pm »
I used to think the Grammy's were crap since the time that My Humps one an award back on 07.

But then again does anyone remember the year Alisson Krauss and Robert Plant won a bunch of awards and everyone was like... WHO ARE THESE GUYS?

I'd like it if she won like one award at least.

She deserves it for Rabbits.

I had started reading the book and found it very... text book-ish?

But currently reading the 'Uglies' series. This woman gives us so much to read. I wanna read something my Jack Kerouac as well!

We should open a NESSAholic book club!

I wish there was a 'like' button somewhere here.

I think the line: "I thought I heard your voice in the thunder, Is the owl casting spells that we're under" would fit so well with the reason for the group.

Meggie Sue.

That song is like a siren call. Wanna hear it maybe with some violin-ey strings? Make it a tad bit more haunting ;-)

Ok. She has AMAZING legs... They are to DROOL for  :o

This review is SPOT ON. I think for anyone who remembers Vanessa from the ATM era and then picks up this album, they would definitely be in for a surprise! ::)

I lulz'd out so bad when she turned away and the hillbilly guy came up to her.

But, yeah has anyone noticed how her head twists back up when she sings "Time will wait" for the first time.
I feel she does it everytime she sings that part.

Not complaining or anything... Just think it's a cute artistic gesture? :P
