sounds kinda haunting (if that's the right word) ...some bits remind me of the piano bit from Beauty and the Beast, like at the beginning of it when the narrator is explaining the beast's backstory. lol.

yeah, the lyrics are a bit muffled, but the music is so pretty!
I'd def like to get my hands on the original mp3

I read in a back issue of Rolling Stone that they've been releasing songs on myspace under a different name or something? And that they were going to release their next album under that pseudonym? idk...it was an old issue of Rolling Stone and I haven't read anything else about them (not really that into Green Day anymore..) so I don't know how true that is anymore :S

But I'd definitely look forward to any new music by Green Day

I've been listening to Fearless on repeat since it came out; it is SO GOOD.

And I love watching the recording process of some of the songs, the videos are on youtube...it's just so interesting to see how Taylor works in the studio and how the songs take shape. She was so cute when she was singing with Colbie Caillat on Breathe

But yeah...SUCH a good album. lovelovelove Taylor Swift

I haven't read paper towns yet (obviously) other than the prologue that John read out in the videos, but here's what it says on his site (sparksflyup.com) :

But other than that i think that its an embarrassment because anyone who hasnt actually LIVED being in the USA will think that thats how everyday life is...sex, drugs, alcohol...and theyre only 17   :?

lol I don't think people who live outside the USA will think life is like that for all American teenagers -- I mean, there is emphasis put on the fact that it all takes place on the Upper East Side, and all these characters have access to a ridiculous amount of money, which I think is pretty obvious that they're not part of the majority of Americans.

But then again, the demographics of this show might reach 13-year-olds for all I know, and I've forgotten how a 13-year-old thinks so I guess some people may think this....meh.

OH MY GOD.

haha I started watching Vlogbrothers about halfway through 07. I'm freaking addicted to them and am so glad they're going back to brotherhood 2.0-style blogging for a while -- daily fix!

Also I am dying to read Paper Towns, but it's not available in Australia and I can't buy it off Amazon because I do not have a credit card. Yes, it is very sad.

I think it's an okay-ish song...the lyrics are kinda cheesy, but it fits with the Sisterhood vibe. Does anyone know if it's gonna be on her album, or just this soundtrack?

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of V icon makers on LJ, but I'll def keep you guys posted if I make anymore
