Yes something to look forward to after a day of exams, this is about 830gmt so i can definitely watch it. Looking forward to the questions, do you reckon they will add a bit on her site to submit things. What to ask?

Is it 8:30 GMT? i thought it was like 12 midnight tonight? that's lucky! i don't have to stay up

SO that's why! I thought it was something personal.

It's like an answer song to a song released forty years ago.

I think that's one of the reasons i didn't immediately like the song. It didn't seem to be very similar to how i would picture her, just not very personal almost.

Worked out that it was just photobucket... it had uploaded my gif all grainy so i just re-uploaded! but this is a very helpful thread guys and please don't judge the awful first sig i've made... :|

Jools Holland always sees artists at their finest.

Very true. Adele performing 'someone like you' (way before she was famous may i just point out ) was beautiful! i cried when i first heard it.

Hey guys, I've made a sig but when i upload it on to photobucket it's just the one image instead of the animation that i spent AGES on. Any ideas how to fix this? thanks

try to upload it anywhere else? tinypic maybe? (you make sure it's a .gif rite?)

That's the thing, when i save it as a gif instead of a png it doesn't animate, just stays as a single picture, i'm so confused :S

I love adele, i really do. I've been a fan since before 19 but I'm a little bit less excited by her now that she's become so famous. I am so glad that she's been recognised as she deserves to be! But there's still that little part of me which feels a little bit annoyed that everyone knows her. All that aside, I'm seeing her in september! can't wait. I still think that 'Hometown Glory' is her best, just so pure.

Hometown Glory was my dance song this year! We did so well with it: getting 2nd overall, several golds and platinums. It was such an emotional dance. Although, it wasn't really my style, it was fun to perform.

And I hear what you're saying about her being popular. You wish for them to be recognized, but when they are, being a fan sort of loses its value, since she has so many. That's why I'm kind of glad V has a smaller fanbase, even though she certainly deserves recognition.


Random fact: in the book The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan, Adele is mentioned. When I saw that, I kind of freaked out, haha, because my favorite character liked her (...though I secretly wished it was Vanessa).

my sentiment exactly! It's like she's not my secret anymore. It feels a little less personal. I love the fact that V has a small fan base! it means that pretty much everyone knows everyone and it's just so friendly, and no-one who i know can ruin her music for me it's great

She played at the Shepherd's Bush back in '03 when she came to Europe. I was there!

Ah lucky! i love it as a venue, i think it's great for gigs. good atmosphere! I REALLY want her to come back
