I haven't played through the entire song (Annie) that's in the official book, (busy!) but it seems okay... except personally I would play the two-handed intro riff in place of what is written for the verses... as for what Vanessa actually plays I'm not sure

I don't really like the song, coz it's not very deep, but it's good to dance to, I must admit.

I love Shakira. Especially her Spanish songs, becuase her voice suits her native tongue better. Her voice is amazing though. So original and unique. Amazing. She is also a very smart and very deep person. I have great respect for her.

Personally, I think Nicole's voice is not bad. I don't love it, but it's not bad. I don't like the song, but maybe her other songs are better. It's hard to tell having only heard one song. I wonder how well she plays the piano.

I think i liked what you were going to change that line to before (the one that mentions souls...) better, but they're both cool and it's your song. It sounds awesome. I am a singer/songwriter/pianist/guitarist/etc. and I am completely obsessed with music, but as for what genre I write in... I'm not sure either!!! Lol. It's like Vanessa crossed with Metallica with many other influences as well but it's my own style... it's like rock & metal with classical influences (maybe "simplified Beethoven"!?). I like that term. That's very cool. I'm just getting into Beethoven now. His music is so expressive and spontaneous-sounding. This is very cool to chat with another artist. Hehe. And you too Shannon.   I can't wait to record.

and by the way.... this is music! Be as dramatic as you like. (Beethoven certainly is. Appassionata....) Also, dunno what the music scene is like where you are, but emo is quite popular over here in Adelaide. Lol.)

Yeah you're entitled to your opinion and you're also entitled to like the music you like just as Laura does. What I have a problem with is you posting to criticize others tastes when you could have just said nothing if it wasn't nice. That's highly insensitive. You didn't like being on the receiving end did you?

Laura is a NESSAholic, she likes Vanessa Carlton, and so do you guys! She can like whatever she likes, she's her own person. It's cool if you don't like the same music, I think people just didn't appreciate THESE comments...

um... i'm going to have to agree. every single artist you mention just sucks. i can't believe that anyone would take nicole richie seriously...

... because it is rude to Laura. If you don't like Nicole Richie, that's cool. But it's not cool to dis Laura just because she brought attention to the song.
