I think Leopard are generally considered more metal than the other two. If band likes Motley Crew are considered metal, then Whitesnake and Twisted Sister can be too. I just call it all glam shite ;-) But at least the solos were good.

Kev222, which bands do you like?

I like,

Classic Heavy Metal: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Dio, Primal Fear, Helloween, Iced Earth, UFO.
Thrash metal: Metallica (really only the first 4 albums, but they are 4 absolutely classic albums), Anthrax, Exodus, Megadeth
Death metal, Death, Children of Bodom (arguably they aren't death metal), Opeth
Progressive Metal, Dream Theater, Symphony X
Power metal: Dragonforce, Secret Sphere, Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Gamma Ray
Neo- classical shred metal: Jason becker, Cacophony, Malmsteen
Some new stuff that I can't classify: Shadow's Fall, 3 Inches Of Blood

Basically anything heavy with ripping guitar solos. The more the merrier (like Dragonforce, 16 per song ). I like operatic vocals too, but I can live with grunts and growls if the music is good enough .

I hope you will like my music. It's kinda like metal x classic rock x alternative, with classical influences on the piano here and there. It's dark  

Can I hear it anywhere? (myspace?). Piano makes everything better

Heavy metal is the perfection of music. The dawn of heavy metal rendered all other guitar based music obsolete. The only purpose of non-metal was to bring about the creation of heavy metal, mere stepping stones. Other genres are now superfluous. Other music is a waste of materials, human resources and time that could be better spent on heavy metal.

Although I dispute that nu-metal (or pseudo-metal as I like to call it) is a heavy metal genre. But I won't go into that rant or you'll never shut me up.

I'll also add that the first Alone In The Dark is arguably the greatest game ever made.

Top 15, without a doubt.  But it will never leap Starcontrol 2, Starcraft, Wing Commander 2, or FFVII.

I can live with top 15. I preferred Warcraft II, but starcraft is awesome. FFVII is the best game of its generation. Never played the other two.

We're agreeing on stuff. I'm scared.

Mario 64 is probably the best 3D platformer ever!!!

Worst. Genre. Ever.

Psht.  The first N64 Zelda game was awesome.

Granted, but one good game doesn't make a good genre.

Uhmmmmmm..... the first Alone in the Dark was fun.  So was the first Tomb Raider for like the first few hours.  Ninja Gaiden was fun.

Aaaaaaaand, I'm spent.

I'd call Alone in the dark and Tomb raider Action-Adventure games, not 3D platformers. 3D platformers are things like Crash bandicoot (sp?), Spyra the dragon, Mario 3D, Sonic 3D, etc.

I'll also add that the first Alone In The Dark is arguably the greatest game ever made.
