@ Keith - Bit Torrent only plays on your PC though.  And it can't possibly be in HiDef.  Do you realize how big a HiDef video file is?  And even if it were in HiDef you couldn't WATCH it that way on your TV.  Only on your PC and PC monitors just aren't made to watch movies.
OR! :rosie: You could burn them to VCD or a DVD.  I do want a tiVo, especially now since the 40-hour tiVo is $99 at Best Buy, it would great to not have to use my VCR to record my soap operas.

Well, I stayed up to watch these on E! and I'm not shocked that Uma and David were snubbed. I'm pulling for Clive and Natalie. I think Virigina Madsen may pull an upset, kinda like Marcia Gay Harden did in 2000 against Kate Hudson. I look forward to Feb. 27th.

I find it very interesting that both Mel Gibson and Michael Moore, who were pushing for their films (Passion and Farenheit) for best picture both got snubbed....and Moore didn't even get a Best Documentary nom.  I love it....haha
I don't think Mel really cares that much (he has two already), and as far Michael Moore goes, I love this quote from Yahoo! News:
Quote
Michael Moore's gamble to hold his hit film "Fahrenheit 9/11" out of the documentary category — to boost its best-picture prospects — backfired. The movie was shut out across the board.

Did he seriously think he'd get a Best Picture nomination for a movie that controversial?   But he can't be too sad since G.W. and Condi got Razzie noms

You're lucky you have a TiVo but I don't so I'd have to budget my tape.
Pfft. Forget VCRs and TiVOs, it's all about BitTorrent. Commercial free and in high definition.

The only problem I thought PoA had was it was missing too much information. Hopefully Newell can make it pretty like Cuaron but informative like Columbus.
That's exactly why I loved PoA so much, Alfonso Cuarón didn't try to include almost every little thing from the book.  If you had never read the books, it was easy to get confused watching the Columbus's movies because there was so much going on at once. PoA was about the three main characters. it had excellent character development.

Everyone says GoF is their favorite Potter book, I have to disagree, my favorite is PoA.  Hell, it's the best book I ever read.

Edit:  Also, Keith, you aren't old enough to remember that era, but this was still 90's.  Grunge was in full swing.  Guys with long hair was the fuckin rage.  Go back and watch 90's TV shows and movies.  It was all about the long hair with the part down the middle.  The wavier the better.

Pssh, bitch I was born in '86. I remember alot of the 90s. I don't remember as much of '90-'92 as much as the years after, but I have VH1.

And I look skinny there, but you gotta remember I was a competitve swimmer all the way up till age 18 so I was pretty well built.  HS girls loved that.
Swimming? And you're still saying you're straight? *limp wrist* Oh Androo, joo so thilly. But since you are claiming you're straight now, I should let you know that there's a term for people like you, it's yestergay (see, Anne Heche).

I dedicate this song to you and your prom companion, my friend.

Then enjoy your unemployment.

You want a job at 16?  You're not going to get a good one.  Fact of life.
Now Trish, don't say that. There is always stripping and porn.
