OMG best night ever!!! Vanessa played "Hear the Bells" with Stevie Nicks!!! I was literally standing right next to the Rhodes and seeing her perform right in front of me!!! there literally wasnt much of a stage... it was like at least 6inches high...super intimate venue so i think i got a pretty good video (they didnt really allow cameras so the video is kinda shaky since i wasnt really looking at the screen... will try to upload soon... the other bands that played were pretty amazing too

Vanessa Songs / Lyrics / Sheet Music / Help??? What does this mean?? (Sway Analysis)

I'm doing an analysis on one of vanessa's songs. Sway. I need help explainig what these lines mean.  

"Come down heavy, try and steady
Precious ladies, love you, love me"

"Hold my head up to the lies that you feed me
I'll fall under the spell you cast as you let me down"

I have no idea what the first one means but for the second one i am thinking that she keeps falling into the false promises of the guy but i am not sure if that's what it really means.

Just recently joined. My name is maira not maria. a lot of people make that mistake. i've been listening to vanessa for about a year already. it's amazing how you never get tired of her music, its some of the best that's out there. can't wait till' her album comes out.
