about freaking time. here's the message:

dear ones,

i'm sorry for the long break in messages. i hope this one is worth the wait. i have been to the arctic and london and back. i'm contemplating a few instrumental pieces for film but i finally wrote a classic style song that may have opened the door to a new record. Forgive, my elusiveness. i've been trying to take care of friends and family as best i can. regardless, i am so honored that you "the collective" stick around and are curious as to what i'm cooking up. i hope you survive the holidays better than thou. love, love

yeah. the fact that she's the first person to figure out how to transcribe it is pretty amazing. besides, that's the chick who puts up all the tutorials for us. gotta give her props for being intelligent and creative.

This kinda sucks because my best friend and I are wanting to give her the project thing we're working on the day we go to see her (Aug. 8th) and it would be like really bad if we don't get to see her after the show. We are just thinking of trying to give it to her when she leaves stage after her set. Tips?

if you can't catch her right after the set, talk to the stage manager. i forgot his name, but if you explain to him what you have he'll tell you how to meet her. he's a cool guy. good luck!

I'll only vote for Barack Obama if Hillary Clinton is the VP, otherwise I still stand with the millions of other women and loyal clinton supporters who will either NOT vote or will be voting for John McCain within the next few months. After all he said and put her through...I cannot easily cross the line and vote for him. I wonder if Vanessa got a nice donation like all the others who backed Obama.

That's not necessarily true. Now that Obama has the Democratic Nomination he's doing and saying some funky stuff he wouldn't dare say during the primary. Like what's with the whole giving more money to private christian religious institutions?? That's some serious Bush bullshit right there.

I agree with Manda. I'm only voting Obama if he takes Clinton on as VP, which is less than likely. Otherwise, I'm voting McCain.

it like has a voicemail from v just saying hi, thanks for calling. then it lets you leave a message. finally, when you hang up, it sends you a text saying your part of the club.

i'd be so happy if spring street became the single. i loved that song from the moment i heard it...but what happened to home. wasn't that supposed to be the next single? plus, as far i as i know, she's never played spring street live, so it hasn't been in any of her shows.
