Well a lot of you Americans will have no idea what Eurovision is...my my you are missing out. HAHA

The Eurovision song contest is a contest watched by millions all over Europe and each country enters a song (they are often very cheesy, very crap but hey! thats Eurovision for ya!), then the whole of europe can vote on which song they want to win- which is usually the one which has a gimmick i.e this year Turkey won cos they had belly dancers. lol, in England it is a Huge piss-take and the commentator is always so mean- he has been banned from SO many countries in Europe!

T.a.t.u were Russia's entry this year and they got booed whenever they got points! And the Spanish entry was very important to nerea and me because its a huge song there! So suprisingly this year there were a few okay songs, if you want a taste of the tatt and class that comes from Eurovision d/l:

This year's Winner- the Turkish Entry- Serteb Enner-Everyway that i can

The Icelandic Entry- Birgitta-Open your heart
The Spanish Entry-Beth- Dime (this should've won! *shakes fist*)

Well Friday is my last day ever at secondary school and people always play horrid jokes on everyone, there is flour, eggs and silly string everywhere at the end of the day.

This boy called Richard really has it in for me (u know those love/hate relationships? This is a hate/hate one!) and he has decided that him and his friends are going to put itching powder on me and then duct tape my arms and legs so i can't itch! Help me!!!

So if you post in this thread i will print it off and show it to Rich so that he won't cause me severe pain and a rash, lol.

Now if that isn't pure marketing skill i don't know what is, a release date diary and everything! Why this isn't done for all things Nessa is quite beyond me, and its such a shame because Vanessa could be bigger than Jewel quite easily- its all just down to bloody promo.

Completely Off-Topic / Auito Italian Oral Tommorrow!

Okay so tommorrow is my Italian Oral (25% of my final Italian grade may i add- aaaaaaaaaaagh) and we are sposed to learn around 50 questions all in italian, aswell as taking part in two roleplays!

This is so scary, its just me and my teacher sitting there examining me- and then this grade decides if i go to sixth form college or not! ack ack ack, u linguists got any good ideas!?

Right, well i'm sure many of you know who they are (UK Nessaholics i am relying on you!). A lot of the guitar riffs you hear in music today are very similar to them. The lyrics are often self-indulgent and very funny at the same time.

They were deemed as a singles' band in the 80s (don't be fooled- not all 80s music was rubbish!) but they ended up producing a number of albums within the space of two years. Marr and Morrissey really didn't get on but they wrote such amazing songs. Just because this band isn't 'new and upcoming' doesn't mean their music should be put in the past, i seriously reccommend you at least download some of their songs. I reccommend:

"There is a Light that never goes out"
"Panic"
"Ask" (d/l the live version!)
"The Boy with the Thorn in his side"
"Unhappy Birthday"
"Bigmouth Strikes again"
"Girlfriend in a Coma"

go on...it won't take long, this might be the best music you've ever heard!

These are some pictures from today which are just too funny not to post, the first is my 'Simply Cornish' Crew named after this legendary ice cream which was well, to say the least, rank. D'ya like our C signs everybody!? hehe

Well, like Nerea, i have finally decided to post here because everybody seems to be moving this way!

The format scares me because the only format i know is the VCMB (i.e crap). I think its sooo posh though! Those dinky little pictures and things!

Anyway, its nice to be here and see all of the 'Big Dawgs' finally reunited- the board seems to have a void of them at the moment.  Long live the NESSAholics, hehe
