I've finally discovered the world of asp.net so I'm happier than a really happy thing that's found a load of bananas. It's five trillion times better than developing with asp 3, if not more.

lol. More than five trillion times better eh? Everybody (now including you) keeps telling me how great .net is, but my employer won't shell out for the software

VanessaVoss.net will be .net soon enough, along with the forum =)

Sweet. Are you redesigning it too? Or just upgrading the back end?

Really not overly keen about this new job. Too many cons and not enough pros. We shall see.

I'm doing a VV.net redesign as well. Really want to completely rewrite the forum if I can find the time.

In my last job I got used to wearing a suit to work, but I'm not so sure now. They can be a right pain. I always end up with painful shoes.

Trrrrrue! My boyfriend is rich already- he makes $5000 a month from websites. Bwhahaha. Yeah thats what i love, PRESENTS!

$5000 a month.  Damn...we're all in the wrong business.

Tell me about it. When a 17 year old is making 10 grand a year more than me in his spare time from school, then I know that I'm definitely in the wrong business lol

Ummm lots! Life is pretty much perfect right now! Got myself a boyfriend (hehe, 2 months now!!) and no its NOT Adam! Got all As in AS levels. Saw Nerea a lot in the summer. Doing psychology, politics and philosophy and thinking of applying to Cambridge next year (a year later than i should) for Social and Political Sciences.

All A's? Cambridge? Get you! Certainly puts me to shame. I really screwed up my A levels and ended up doing a degree I didn't really want to do, so it didn't last more than a couple of years! =)

Got any particular career in mind, miss brainy?

Edit: Congrats on the b/friend. Hope it all continues to go well =)

Yes. I dissapated for a while. Sorry about that. Been busy doing lots of things and stuff at work and at home. I need them to extend the length of a standard day by about six hours. Might have some spare time to do stuff then! =)

I'm okay thanks. Just tired and sore-eyed. But apart from that things are good really. Could certainly be a lot worse!

If only it was the job interview that gave me money. I'd just stick to doing the interviews! Lots of travel, but it wouldn't be a bad job really

The interview was interesting. Huge company and loads more cash, but I don't know if I want to go there or not. 40 min train journey there and 40 back and they run at stupid times (hourly I think). Would have to start wearing a suit. Would just be maintaining and expanding one web site instead of developing new sites. Dunno really. Have to see if I get a second interview anyway

I'm hating ntl at the moment. Never had a problem with them before, but the phone line stopped working over a week ago and someone should be turning up to fix it today. A week without the phone! Tsk. I should get some kind of refund anyway. Still .. very inconvenient! Now I have to hang around all day because the engineer is going to turn up between 12 and 6pm .. how very accurate.

So how's all of you? What you up to at the moment Kev? Are you now a full time code monkey?
