Polls / Democrat Voters
« on: March 06, 2008, 07:16:26 am »
Winning a state, to be quite honest, doesn't mean much. Just a way for Clinton to say "Whoo! I won Texas!" even though the vote was pretty much 50/50 (exactly 50/50 in one county... did anyone else see that?). Obama still has a higher delegate count.

Made worse by the fact that she is so, so much better at pop. I wouldn't call myself a country aficionado but still.

I hope this album is good. Jessica Harp at times bores me to tears so I hope Michelle hasn't channeled that.

I feel like this same concept could have been used for White Houses. Hands on Me needs something much more epic.

Her second album is head and shoulders above her first. Not that her first wasn't good, but Drastic Fantastic is fantastic.

My computer only lets me change my region 5 times. You should probably see if your computer does that too and whether that's an issue. I don't watch DVD's on my computer, so I just left it on Region 2.

Hey guys! This discussion about projects on Nessa really brings me back to my youth.

I can distinctly remember one of our world history projects in the 10th grade. The teacher, Ms. Thissletwat, asked us to "research one of the great families in history." Once those words came out of her mouth, I knew I had to do mine on the Carltons.

I had to do some background research on the Carltons, so I had established a little camp site on the tree branch facing Nessa's bedroom. As she listened to her music and read magazines (like the cool teen she was) I took notes on her behavioral patterns.

I convinced Nessa to invite me over to do some research and she completely put her best foot forward. She threw me in her coat closet to help me work and I gathered some of the most valuable information to my research. While collecting lint samples off the floor, which happened to have a distinctly pleasant taste I might add, she came in and escorted me out of the house (she knew that I had been working hard).

When Nessa presented her project on Monday, on the Romanov's (which I thought was a little far afield) I knew I had to go next. Opened up my poster board with great specimens, like Nessa eating, going to the bathroom, what I found on her closet floor, and a blurred pic of her mom in the shower (I had to be tasteful!). She cried in absolute joy and ran out of the room.

So, in sum, you can see a great project on Nessa can go a long way, take it from me!

                         Yours truly,
                                   Julinda <3 :)

I'm used to using Macs, so I find them a lot easier to use. One major downside, of course, is that if you're an avid gamer you have to wait a few months for most games to be released for Macs. Plus, you can't buy Mac games in Target or whatever so you have to either find it at the Apple store or buy it online.

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Worst interview ever.

"This is Phillip, he's my little... guardpuppy, you know..."

"It's such an honor to be on LPS news, it's like the BIGGEST news production... cause like BILLIONS of people are watching this."

"I write BOOKS."

"I'd walk a thousand miles for you guys too."

"It's gonna RAIN. And that's right, it's gon' be rainin' SIDEWAYS."

That kid is going to look back on that in five years and be embarrassed beyond belief. It's one thing when you play with your plastic animals like that, but it's another thing when you put it on the internet.

It was still cute. Even though she's actually 17.

When she was five, he was twenty-four. That's all I can think about. Sorry.
