I moved this thread from the live shows section because this is where it should be. :)

Also, I think the bootleg you have is the Gibson Amp bootleg from 7/26/05. :)

p.s.: If you have the Nicks show, I'd be interested in that! haha

And I spent about 15 minutes trying to find it! lol.

Ok, I'll double check with a friend and make sure that is the show I have. And I'll try to dig out my SN show too. If you're interested in other Nicks shows at all, PM me. I have a crapload.

And either way on the Vanessa show, I'll upload tonight when I get off work.

O its fine to upload it for us.. People upload all their recordings from shows onto here....if you look into the REVIEW threads...you will see proof of that.hahahahaha

I'm not even sure...I got it with a Stevie Nicks show...haha.
From memory the setlist is:
Ordinary Day
Who's to Say
White Houses
Hands on Me
This Time
A Thousand Miles (where she famously forgets the words LOL)
*I think I'm forgetting one in the middle somewhere...

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / Bootleg Question...
« on: July 11, 2007, 07:38:46 pm »
I have a bootleg show from LA '05. It's really good quality and I would like to share it with the other fans here in case they have not heard it, but I wanted to make sure that was allowed first. I know I read something about having to have it ok'd through Vanessa's management first?...

Just let me know, and if it's ok, I'll upload it to sendspace or yousendit.

Vanessa Songs / Lyrics / Sheet Music / "Home"

I've been listening to this song a lot in the past three days. I think it's a really pretty song that anyone can relate to. I like that about Vanessa's lyrics. You can always find something that pertains to your life. Or at least I always do.

General Vanessa Carlton Discussion / RATING OF NOLITA FAIRYTALE
« on: July 10, 2007, 06:40:55 pm »
I'd give it a 7/10. I really like the song and found myself singing it over and over again in my head. Yes, some of the lyrics are cheesy (although I can't help but love the Stevie lyric being the chiffonhead I am lol), but they get a clear point across and I think they're bittersweet in their own way.

I have to say though, I think Hands on Me would have made a more radio friendly single.

Old topic, but just wanted to say I too love Anna Nalick. I've never gotten to see her live yet, but I will someday! I can't wait for her new cd to come out.

I absolutely love this song. I've been playing it on repeat along with Fools Like Me for the past two days now. I can't wait to hear what the released version will sound like with Stevie Nicks singing backup.

Live Shows / 7/3/2007: Chevrolet Centre - Youngstown, OH (review)

This is my first post so bare with me! lol.

I'm a Stevie Nicks fan all the way. She's the reason I even saw Vanessa live, but here I am now so that's saying something! Vanessa was in-cred-ible! I was a big fan of hers before (I own both cds) but now I'm a HUGE fan. This girl is so talented. She had me in awe.

I loved her hat. lol.

Her new song The One is very pretty. She said Stevie will be singing backup on it so that should be interesting to hear! Also, I really like her song Fools Like Me. That was my favorite "new" song. I've been a fan of Hands on Me for a couple years now (have it on bootleg from LA) so I was so excited to hear it live.
I managed to get video of Nolita Fairytale if anyone is interested:

Overall Vanessa was amazing, and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to see her live. I'd definitely pay money to see her again.
