Eh, you can always try recording it. You can grab a program called Audacity and have it record the sound that comes out of your speakers. So stop all other sounds that might be playing (AIM, MSN, your music player, etc.), and you can play the song on YouTube. Then you can hit Record in Audacity and stop it when the song is done. Then you can save your recording.

If you don't mind doing it this way, I'll post a tutorial (or you can always try Google =P) for you later. I don't know how to directly rip the sound from .flv (Flash Video).

She needs to do some new photographs.

But nice find =] Although... the cover art seems strange because there's nothing (or no one) in the center >_>

Other Musicians / Utada Hikaru
« on: August 28, 2007, 03:36:21 pm »
I hope it's not allowed to bump year old topics?

Anyway... I absolutely adore Utada Hikaru. Easy Breezy was just a song to show that she can be fun and playful. It was her first real album in the US, and she needed something catchy for her first single (sold poorly here, but that was due to poor promotion).

The TC seemed very arrogant... glad he's banned =P

There's a reason she's one of the top selling Japanese artists of all time (36-40 million records total)...

EDIT: Just noticed that the TC made this in September of 2004 >_>

Apple's iTunes Store is the third biggest retailer of music in the United States... I think it matters a lot =P

Did anyone on the East Coast watch FRESH: New Music Videos or whatever? I'm going to check that out in 30 minutes too... no way to record though =/ But hope Vanessa is on anyway!

=] I voted about 100 times last night, and I just did about 50 times. I'll continue doing it some more.

It doesn't matter if it's legal or not; Google isn't going to care =P

As for its actual legality, I'm not really sure.

Thanks for the link, pswik09 =]

What do you guys call a "ringback tone"??
NF has been my ringtone ever since we got the first version!

You're asking what a ringback tone is? I think it's the tone that plays when you call someone... so instead of hearing the ringing sound you normally hear, you hear the ringback tone instead.

I watched Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby a couple of weeks ago... I'm going to watch The Bourne Ultimatum and Rush Hour 3 soon though.

Completely Off-Topic / Gaming Consoles
« on: August 26, 2007, 12:09:29 am »
For recent consoles, I have a GameCube and a Wii... and also a DS. I plan to buy a 360 sometime within the next year and a PS2 as well.

I'm a total gaming geek =P I'm more concerned about the industry though rather than playing nowadays; my career will probably involve game development or journalism.

Other than Vanessa, Michelle Branch, Stacie Orrico, Ashlee Simpson, and Natasha Bedingfield, I don't really listen to pop... Unless we count J-Pop, which then I listen to Utada Hikaru all the time.
