OH. MY. GOD. I am almost IN TEARS right now. This song just rips and tears at my heart; it's like Vanessa is in my head when she writes, especially this.

I...I...I'm just at a loss over this song. It's PERFECT. Lyrics, music, everything.

And her VOICE. My god, it just keeps getting better and better and better...

  Exactly what I thought when I first listened to that song.

I think it's "The Year Of Magical Thinking" by Joan Didion. I'm also very interested in reading this book.

According to her website, she started recording her next album last february ! She's written about 30 songs over the past year and a hald and is recording them all ! I really hope the album will come out this summer !

yeah, she looks like a lunatic.

LOL I think she did a great job- So what everyone only posts BORING as covers of them at the piano or keyboard in their boring house- and she just did a video clip to go with it. What's wrong with that? just because no one has done it before dosn't mean it's bad.

The make-up on the other hand is her own style. That just means she is combining elements of the artist and elements of her own style.

Besides, she's the only one who has done a cover.


And I don't need a hug lol I think I am very happy being #6 in NZ on youtube this month!!


Oh and 'The One' tutorial is up ditto White Houses and San Francisco ^_^

oh, and if there are any House fans... you'd be excited to know that Jesse Spencer (Dr. Chase) was at the show... and I was drooling staring at him while listening to vanessa, lol.

He seemed pretty into "half a week before the winter"

It's nothing official. I haven't even seen it on Wikipedia and even if I did, Wikipedia isn't reliable at all...

you guys forgot to add "sh*t"" and "fu*k" to the setlist!  she seems to play those at every show the last couple years or so.

Thank you a lot for the lyrics !! I really appreciate them. To me that song really is an "Afterglow" 2, very different don't get me wrong but I feel the same thing listening to it, it's just a song I could be playing and singing all day. Vanessa is a genius.
