If you're not a fan anymore then why continue to post here?  I'm honestly not trying to be rude, but that's what this place is for, is it not?  Sorry if that comes off offensive to you, wasn't meant to be.

Kind of like how you're posting in this thread, but don't like what he might choose to wear?

Come on people, the hypocracy is thick here.

Maybe he comes here because:

ohhhh boy... haha.  This place always provides a good laugh.

To be fair, she never said she didn't like what he might wear.  She said she wouldn't want her boyfriend wearing it.  That's two different things.  These two aren't dating.  So, no, there's no hypocrisy.

Exactly.  I honestly could care less if he wants to wear that.  It's personal preference.  As I said, to each their own.  So, please don't go twisting my words.  I have zero problem with the way he wants to dress... and I was never once making fun of it.  I actually previously told him where to find scarves etc... so yeah... thanks.

Polls / USA/CANADA

I live literally 2 minutes from the Peace Bridge into Canada.  I go to school with so many Canadians.  Half of my college is Canadian, they come here to go to what they call "Teacher's College" because Ontario only has a few.  From what I've heard  thus far, Canada, or at least Ontario and the more populated areas in the country seem to be significantly more liberal than the U.S.  We've found many differences in our education systems from discussions in class.  There are however, a great deal of similarities.  But yeah - lots of Canadians come here to shop... even though the dollar is about at par now, they always say things are cheaper here... perhaps that's because a lot of them live in Niagara Falls, not sure?

And I agree that new fashions for men are good, I like men who take care of themselves... though I'm not really into men who take more time to get ready than I do :D  That particular fashion is personally not something I'd want a boyfriend of mine to wear, but hey, to each their own :)

that's because you're always on the opposite side of the state as I am when I go to NY.

Perhaps then, when you plan a trip to NY, you should plan one to the opposite side of the state.  The city is 7 hours from me which in reality isn't THAT much closer than where you are right now haha.

haha, yeah, but when I will be on the western side...you will be in NYC.

these are the problems i face.

This is true, and very tragic.

Oops.

See, you admitted it.  Point proven.

Ut oooooooh.  You keep not coming to visit me.  That's the problem. Hahaha.

Well on a lighter note, as Joey said, Gap has lots of scarves still right now.  Not sure if they're what you're looking for.  I personally don't dress like that but I am a bit into wearing scarves, call me whatever you want

ohhhh boy... haha.  This place always provides a good laugh.

Yeah, I never said I didn't like it.  I've just seen her quite a few times and found this performance to not be as good as the rest of the times I've seen her.  That's all.

27
What are you talking about?  Who said what?

28
I heard the radio station the next morning say that they thought she was really impressive, but the way they talked about it, they thought that the other performers were much more personable than she was.  Which is sad... hoping it was just an off day in that department.

29
Just wanted to make it clear that it wasn't a terrible performance.  I've just seen better from her... that's all :)  Still enjoyed myself.  And another positive note, my boyfriend (who runs a local music label) was extremely impressed by her.

30
For the most part I'd have to agree with Steve.  I wasn't completely unimpressed, but I'd definitely have to agree that she wasn't very personable at this performance.  And she clearly was "out of it", my boyfriend and I both noticed, as did Steve.  I personally don't care about stuff like that, but I wished that for the 40 dollars I spent to go to the show that I would have gotten a bit of a better performance.  In any case, it was nice to see her again.  Was cool that she played "Ordinary Day" on the Rhodes - that was something different.  I feel that perhaps it was partly the type of show that it was... one in which the majority of the audience only knew her singles... not a show where there's bigger fans of hers at (at least.. not many).  I tend to think when she, or any artist plays a show like this that they don't get into it quite as much as they do intimate ones with their fans.  I enjoyed myself, was a good night all in all.  And the wine, beer and food were wonderful haha.
