Just thought I'd share about an artist I've come across
JD Webb is an award winning artist who's a talented singer, musician, songwriter, producer, etc! He's done some work with composing for "Days of Our Lives" and was part of a band called Raze... but is now going solo! You HAVE to check him out!!

I hear ads for this ALL the time. She's playing their Christmas show at the State Theater in Modesto!  Her name is always first... so I'm thinking that means she's headlining.

Creative Endeavors / Home vs. Far

I just had to do a photography/photoshop project for class based on self portrait collages... You could put yourself in the picture but I decided to use scenery to portray an inner conflict I have right now. I'm about to graduate college and I still don't know where I want to live afterwards. A big part of me wants to go home to LA which I love and am familiar with. My family is there and it's home... but I've also always wanted to give living somewhere else a shot. So I took photos of familiar places around my home, took aspects from those photos and layered them over maps of places far away. The maps portrayed here are of London, Tokyo and New York City. I also did a 4th one with Sidney... but I don't like it and want to redo it. These are random and definitely not anything like what the other students did... but I think they turned out kinda interesting looking.

Completely Off-Topic / Anyone good with Spanish music?

I know this is going to be a very vague discription but I figured it was worth a shot because it's been bothering me for awhile now! I made a lot of friends from Mexico over break, and every night we would hang out in this bar and often they would play Spanish music. Though I know very very little Spanish, I still really enjoy their music! There was this one song they played a lot...
They all knew it really well so I figure it's really popular. It's sung by a girl and it's very fast, upbeat and pop sounding! It also kinda has a video game sound to it. I really liked the song, but now I have no idea who it's by or the name of the song and it's driving me crazy!
I had this problem with another song... but I figured that one out because it was playing when I went into Baja Fresh (a spanish restaurant) today. So I asked who it was by and they told me it was Alejando Fernandez, "Canta Corazon". So I got lucky with that one... now it's just the other song that I'm dying to find out!
I emailed my friends but they havent gotten back to my yet.

She's a legend (a 9 time grammy winner who's been around since the early 70's), but one that I've just been turned onto recently. Last wednesday my friend told me he had an extra ticket to her concert and asked if I'd like to go. We got 2nd row seats and got to meet her afterwards. I was blown away by how amazing she was live (she has a beautiful voice and kicks ass on the guitar)  and what a truely strong, genuine and sweet woman she is! Then today I was studying for a music industry quiz and they were talking about her in my book. I found that she's mentioned about 10 times. She's always involved in some kind of activist group or funraising benifit.

Probably he biggest hit is "Something to Talk About", and I also really love, "I Can't Make You Love Me".

She's still very active today! She's currently on tour and released her album, "Souls Alike" on September 13th, 2005.

Polls / Which side is worse?

Just curious what everyone things... cause I've been on both sides and I think they're both pretty bad!

In my opinion I felt worse being the one to dump the other person. I felt so bad I cried while doing it (infront of him), and randomly in class today... haha
