i just thought this was kinda intresting...
i used to love the books when i was little, but i never really thought much about the meaning, but recently in my US History class we had to do a report on one of his books and try to find the historical/moral meaning (but not all books have this, but alot do)
i did the zax and it's about war and more specifically the cold war, as is the butter battle. yertle was actually written about hitler. and the sneetches is about racism and equality...
lol, i never would of guessed! i always thought they were just normal childrens books...

what do you guys think about children reading things that are sposed to be about war? i think its a good thing cause it teaches kids about that kind of stuff at a young age, but doesnt really talk about it... it's a good way of getting the message across i think

well he didnt say anything rude... but last week especially he was acting rude, like forgetting me, leaving me on hold and not wanting to talk to me... and then when a bunch of us called Yara (a friend) said all our names, but when jojo editted it he left out my name and Daniel's. he "said" that the part we were in was too quiet and he couldnt use it, but i know that isnt true, and if it was he could of come back and gotten her to say it again, he had enough time, i just think its rude that he left us out. and when i emailed him about all this stuff he gave lame exuses... like he always forgets people when they use the line i call. and i know that isnt true, cause i have friends who call that line too but he doesnt forget them!! the thing about him is that when someone tries to tell him something he does wrong (like being mean to callers, lol) he just denies that he does anything wrong, and makes the person who said that feel bad. he has a way of twisting things. and he also has a very bad temper. he can be a great guy.... but he also has that bad side
