I have come back to the NHMB to announce my re-arrival.

It has been sooo long since I last was on the board. I used to have the 12th most posts on the board... well let's just say I have dropped about 30 slots on the Billboards.

It is great to be back here and see so many -er- names that I haven't seen in so long. I feel like I am at a high school reunion! Vanessa Carlton High School, that is.

I haven't been able to hear a lot of Vanessa since I got my CD stolen at my church.  :?: I had my name on it and nobody returned it. I guess, at least the person who stole it stole a great CD. I am very much excited about her new CD which will be out in about... ooh, 5-7 months? Not such a long wait, compared to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Anyway, I am her on a quest of Nessa-re-discovery. And I am just trying to say that I am thrilled to be back at the NHMB, I have been very busy this summer, and it is sort of slowing down, so you can promise to see me more here, and hopefully, by Nessa's new CD, I will be in the top 20 posters again!

We all know that the VCMB has gone down a path towards the worse.

I think if we deleted eveyone who was 1 months or younger (on the VCMB board) it would be a lot better. There are so many scammers, too. That board has become a disaster. Alecs Cook runs the board. I mean, no offense Alecs, but the VCMB board belongs to Nikkee,(EDIT: well, doesn't own it, but she is the most popular one on here)  and she hasn't been there in such a long time! I don't even bother with the board anymore. And these newbies come in with their "secrets" that everyone (who has been her for a while) already knows. The VCMB also become like a second MB Board. Or other singers board. People come there and talk about eveyone... except NESSA! What's up with that? I only get on like once a week, but I am on the NHMB all the time!  

I think that we can all agree, the board isn't the same.

Having said that, we don't want this board to turn out like the VCMB. The impersonaters/scammers/newbies on the other board are really taking over, and we don't want them to take over the NHMB.

Don't get angry, we don't want this board to end up like the VCMB. We have awesome, strict mods, but you can't avoid newbies joining.

I have complete trust in the mods and admins here, I am just a little worried for the message board. Please, do not get pissed.

This is not against newbies in general, just against the annoying ones and the impersonaters. Some/Most newbies are rad!

OMG, I love her newest album. It is so awesome! She has a kind of eastern sound to it, and she rocks. "Cry" shows off her vocals. She is also a very awesome actress. I love "Saturate Me". She has a lot of talent and will be here for a while!

I don't think the rare music wh0re likes her but oh well!

Last night, I had a dream about Gwen (if you want to tell you about it, then say) and wanted to see if my dreams account of what she looked like where correct. If anyone has any pics of Gwen, past or present, then please, I would really appreciate seeing them.

Jewel is *possibly* better than Vanessa, she is so awesome. I love her awesome guitar riffs and beautiful voice. She is too amazing! She is very talented, and I can NOT wait for her new CD in June!

I have noticed, now that I am semi-studying French (more like trying to learn a few words), that two of her more recent songs, Papa and C'est la Vie are in French. Did Vanessa study French at all or is that just some kind of convenience?

Papa is french for "dad'
C'est La Vie is French for "Sieze the day"

I doubt it is a convenience.

I thought it was very rad how they showed her playing Wanted and Twilight, and the place where she used to play at! It was really cool. And how they showed bits and pieces of all 3 videos + American Dreams. She did very well on that show  :wink: .
