Did anyone get an extra ticket and want to take me??? 
My emails weren't coming through on my phone that day, so by the time I saw the email about it- it was all sold out.

Have any "Ursa Major" fans noticed some similar melodies from Heroes and Thieves on this album?
"Dao of St. Paul" -> "Come undone"
the opening part "This part "In this night, I need to call you but all the lines are blown.
If only you knew, how empty I feel. But maybe then you're lonely too,"
"About to Break" -> "Home"
the part after "Standing next to my fellow man" and the guitar after "it's about to break"
It's only for a few verses but I definitely hear the similarities.

he was with his girlfriend i'm assuming...
he was over by the bar most of the time...when i heard his australian accent I was like AHH!

oh, and if there are any House fans... you'd be excited to know that Jesse Spencer (Dr. Chase) was at the show... and I was drooling staring at him while listening to vanessa, lol.

she was all timid -
i got some pretty good vids and some not so great pics... but i'll share the links anywho
I was walking out and so ready to slip into bed when i saw jess and waved and realized V was standing next to her i tapped vanessa on the shoulder and was all "thanks, it was a nice show" and she was like "oh, hey... Stephanie, right? how are you? how do you like the venue - where do you like to go and play...." i was a little shocked and really tired - so we spoke for about 1 min then i gracefully went home - she always surprises me... anyhow
i really liked her playin at the hotel - it's nice to go to a small room and see someone you like play (the hotel cafe hasn't let me down yet!) it was perfect!

hey steph! I saw you before the show I called out your name but I guess you didn't hear me
sorry I was kind of distracted when you came by afterwards, I've never really said anything to vanessa the few times i've met her so I was trying to get a word in before everyone else started asking for pictures!

i just found out about the show today thanks to facebook!

i have a yamaha p120. as close to a real piano feel you can get (that i've tried) i think its even better than the korg trition (really expensive)
i dont think they make the p120 anymore but they have similar models and i think they begin with the letter P and some other number after it.
i think it cost a little over 1000. maybe 1200 or something
you can save 3 recorded tracks on there at once, and transfer them to your computer via audio in/out cables or midi.
