Completely Off-Topic / Retro Candy Gift Boxes on Amazon from different decades lol

okay so i got a 75 dollar amazon gift card from promosquad today. Well I was looking on the front page of Amazon and found these candy gift boxes with candys from different decades and found one from the 90's!

i was thinking about getting it, but do you guys think the candy is edible?? haha. i can't find any info about it on the site, im not sure if i should get it or not. if it is edible i most likely will..yes i'm a dork but i think it's cool

I first found out from one of my friends in a bulletin on myspace & didn't believe it, but now it's all over the news & on almost every website.

my old Choir teacher from my senior year of high school, her baby boy has been going through chemo since a little after he was born because of a tumor in one of his eyes. I think he's like 2 years old now, i'm not positive though. but he's really young & has been in and out of the hospital since they found the tumor.

his parents have a carepage for him where they give everyone updates & he has a 105 temperature, his heart rate is way above what it should be & they took him to the intensive care unit. if you guys could pray i would greatly appreciate it! i haven't seen my choir teacher since high school, but she was one of the best teachers i ever had she definitely doesnt deserve to go through this. ugh why do bad things happen to good people?

i'll keep you guys updated when i hear something new.

UPDATE Thursday the 24th:
They just updated the page & said he hasn't eaten in 6-7 days. I got a little teary eyed when I read that. But apparently in the middle of the update he started jumping up and down in his crib and acted like himself again, so hopefully that's a good sign. There's a lot of info. to take in, but hopefully he's getting on the right track. I'm just scared that he hasn't eaten in 6-7 days. So for those who like to pray for specific things, pray that he starts eating again & continues to act like himself. Thank you. I REALLY appreciate all of your guys' thoughts & prayers.

They are AMAZING. I heard their song "forgive me" on the 2nd episode of One Tree Hill this season. I didn't know who it was at the time, but after hearing the girl singing/rapping I had to check it out. The beginning to that song is deep, but if you keep listening to it it's amazing. Especially the chorus.

"Can't Go On" is my 2nd favorite song.

The picture on their myspace may remind you of the black eyed peas, but they are nothing like them in my opinion. I think they have stronger/more inspiring lyrics.

They currently have the number 1 song on itunes right now according to them.

this isn't a thread to bash her..i'm just wondering if you guys think she will pull herself together after this latest incident (which i'm sure you all have heard about by now) or if you think she'll end up like anna nicole.

I think she's gonna end up like anna, but i've been saying that almost all year. I hope she pulls it together though cuz I USED to be a fan. It's sad what's happening to her.

okay i haven't been able to watch or listen to more than 5-10 seconds of their music cuz i find them EXTREMELY annoying and think they are trying to be the next Hanson. but i was on ONTD (huge livejournal entertainment community) and came across this. normally i wouldn't watch one of their videos, but i noticed he was sitting at the piano so i thought i'd give it a shot and i actually got chills at one point. they still aren't as good as hansen imo, and he needs a lot of work on his voice but then again hes only what 15?

it's long but definitely worth the watch coming from someone who can't stand them. at one point it pans to the crowd singing and i think its at the wiltern in LA? maybe someone can confirm that for me but im pretty sure it is.

My step-dads good friend works on Barron's ranch and I found out the reason Paris is always partying and doing stuff for money is because her grandpa won't give a lot of the money to her. Who knew he was gonna do this though wow. Good for him.

Yet another artist i'm surprised there's no thread for. Blake was actually my favorite after Melinda left that season, but this cd is really good. A lot better than I thought it'd be.

Songs I would highly recommend to listen to first: Tattoo if you haven't heard it on the radio or somewhere already, Freeze (my favorite song from the cd), and God Loves Ugly. The last song I mentioned is so beautiful. Tattoo & Freeze are both on her myspace http://www.myspace.com/jordinsparks

never usually disappears like this? one of my best friends has been missing for 2 days. She doesn't have her cell with her cuz an officer called our group at like 1 in the morning this morning & that's how he got our numbers. None of us have seen her in a while & her parents haven't seen her in two days. they are filing a missing person report.

She goes to school like an hour & a half or so from us so I have a feeling something happened where she goes to school at cuz if her car broke down in our town she could've walked to her house cuz everything is so close. We were thinking about looking for her, but we got together for lunch & nobody from our group knows where to even start besides her work & the mall, but i'm sure her parents already checked there. And it doesn't seem like anyone wants to go all the way to her school. Maybe if she still doesn't show up in a few days they'll change their mind. I hope they do.

If you don't know, Criss Angel called out this dude who claimed he could talk to the dead & could predict things on his new NBC show (the magic version of american idol basically). The guy tried to attack Criss after that lol, but anyways. Now, I definitely believe in the supernatural stuff. I'm okay disagreeing with Criss, someone I really admire about that. I used to believe in a few people being able to talk to the dead, but this totally changed my mind seeing how passionate he feels about this. Just wanna know if you guys agree with him or your opinions on what he's saying. Please watch this first & wait for it to load so it doesn't keep pausing:

she got enough sleep? lol i ask because the celebs I'm a fan of the most never get enough sleep during promo time.

Paula Abdul clearly showed on her Bravo show she only gets 2 hours of sleep a night, Criss Angel said earlier this week he only gets 2 hours of sleep now with all of his projects, and even the backstreet boys don't seem to be getting any sleep since their cd came out yesterday & are already getting sick from being in NY.

Just find it weird that Vanessa seems to be the only one who can kinda keep sane during promo week lol

Like Criss Angel said to Ryan, he's turning into Ryan Seacreast with all these projects. First Mindfreak, he's practicing for his summer show at the Luxor, now this show which is in LA. He said he only gets like 2 hours of sleep now.

Anyways, it's on NBC Wednesday I believe? there's a 2 hour live special on Halloween which is supposed to be pretty awesome. It's basically the Magic version of American Idol, he's trying to find the next great Magician. He said he can be like Simon Cowell at times, but he's not TRYING to be like him. When someone's lame, he's gonna tell them. But he's really a nice person, I met him over the summer. There's also another judge I forget the name. uri gellar or something? I'm probably completely off with the name.

I haven't seen the show yet, still need to watch it online. Or on DVR cuz my dad recorded it for me.
