amazing & heartbreaking movie about some of the children living in Africa. ive heard about & seen some of the stories about Africa & how they live, but it didnt really affect me till i saw this movie w/ some friends & church members the other night. its about these 3 high school or college guys who go to Africa & live there for a while to see what its like & they share a lot of the kids' stories.

Please go see it, you will be shocked. We're actually trying to organize an event to get money to give to these kids with some bands/artists. If you know any bands/artists in the so cal area that might wanna help please lemme know.

They are a really popular Christian rock band. They came to my mall on May 12th, which was my birthday and they were awesome. We were gonna try to meet them after but there were like 300 people in line or something it was nuts lol. and about 2000 people at the mall for them.

anyways, check out their music, Rebirthing is their most famous song  http://www.myspace.com/skilletmusic

Paula now has her own show on Bravo Thursday nights and she is hilarious on it sometimes I love her. the dunkin donuts thing in the limo cracked me up.

And im soo glad she has her own show because maybe, just maybe people will stop saying shes drunk all the time. If you wanna know why shes so "loopy" sometimes, then watch the show it will explain a lot especially the 1st 2 episodes.

Also yes she has a bitchy side to her, but then again her blonde assistant is a bitch (I know someone whose met her) and her fans have a theory that she wanted to make Paula out to be that way. Shes flown with Paula a ton of times, so she had to have known Paula always wears sweats when she flys, and Paula was already exhausted so she knew she would flip out. Paulas actually involved in the show so she could've cut that part out if she wanted, but she didnt I love how shes not afraid to show her bitchy side lol.

i dont have a livejournal anymore so this is for anyone whose curious whats been going on with me. this is a pretty big thing for me so i thought i'd post about it. if you dont care ignore it i guess.

anyways, so yeah i have a job now as an office assistant at a little carpet store near my area and im renting a house with 3 other people. a friend, a girl our age we just met, and this guy i used to go to middle school with.. that part is really random lol. ive been there for a week so far & its been cool. i actually moved out because my step-dad was pretty much an asshole to me a while ago and hes really controlling so i just got sick of it and decided to move out cuz one of my friends found this house so yeah its been good.

never thought i'd move out at 21 but im lovin it  :) my parents are helping me a little so im not totally on my own but you get what i mean haha

the first song on his myspace Lone Ranger sounds a lot like a mix between gavin degraw & maroon 5, its a really fun song. Lone Ranger and holy spirit are my favorites (dont be thrown off by the name if your not religious, its a good song). hes a Christian artist obviously, but really good so check out his music http://www.myspace.com/natesallie

I LOVE his cd, he is incredible. All of his songs are really fun, upbeat & rockish. Waiting for You is his only slow song.

http://www.myspace.com/dennislamar

I was the first to create an official myspace group for him & when I did his manager sent me a message from his official myspace saying Dennis wanted to send me 10 of his cd's to give to my friends just cuz I was the first one to start a group for him. but then I decided a couple days later I wanted to delete my myspace, oh well lol

anybody else a fan of his show? i looove him, he never ceases to amaze me. After he levitated himself & a couple other people outside in the middle of a park where there was no possible way a rope or anything could've helped him or the other people float in the air thats when I knew he was the real deal. He also levitated in a million other places it was so funny everyone was like wtf cuz when he was walking around he would all of a sudden just start floating lol.

His show is on A&E every WEDNESDAY at 10pm.

I dont even think the title has been released yet, has it? when it does i'll update the thread with the title. But for those who saw the 2 hour geys anatomy special last week, do you think you'll like Addisons show?

I thought she was hilarious, shes quickly becoming my favorite actress.  Infact I dont even have a favorite actor or actress so I guess there's something special about her.

Her character can be hysterically funny, but really serious at the same time I love it.

oh yeah & the elevator lady cracked me up

gosh this is a sad week. these two posts brought me to tears, especially the 2nd one.. on top of already being shocked by the vt tech shootings.

dane cooks father died the 14th from cancer & a stroke he's been battling, and this is coming a year after his mom died from cancer. You can read his post here, its lengthy but worth the read http://www.danecook.com poor guy :(

Also, AJ from the backstreet boys was contacted by a fan on his myspace about her best friend who died over the weekend whose also a bsb fan asking for some support & he wrote about it on his blog as well as asking his fans to keep her family in our thoughts/prayers (sweet guy).

This post made me tear up.. I get a lot of judgements from being a Paula & BSB fan, but I hope this helps some people realize people are fans of certain artists for a reason.

Please keep her family in your thoughts/prayers:

Hi Alex, I always try to send stupid messages for people in my space, but I really need your help now.
The fact is: my best friend who was a Backstreet boys fan since 1997 died yesterday. She was only 26 years old, her birthday was last week. She has some kind of sindrome since she was born, but last week she started to get weaker but she didn't tell her mother because she wouldn't like to make her mom worry. But friday she gets really sick, and died on saturday morning. Is really painful to talk about it.
She was a strong girl, smart and funny and even have many physical difficults (she wasnt able to walk without help) she tried to live a normal life. She went to the backstreet boys concert in 2001 in RIO, she travelled 2 days to get there, she didn't have money, but she went. She was a warrior...a survivor... a person who always fight for what she want.
you can see her space if you want: http://www.myspace.com/tatiane_mn

She love Backstreet boys, and even knowing that this is a sad landscape, she was burried with a flower and a picture of backstreet boys and her friends with her) because backstreet boys were reallya good influence to her. She always told me there in the hard times she used to hear your songs, last year, her mother had to live for a while in another city, and the album never gone was her best company.

I have nothing left to say, because the tears started to cry.. I just wanna to ask you to send a message to her family... to her friends... we feel like the best way to homage her... is getting messages in her memory for the artists she use to like...

Alex, I'm pleading you...she was very important to me... we need just some words... it feels like we onw it to her. I know that you can't help any fan in the word, but she really deserves it...she was a fighter.... her mother is very sad, because it all happened so suddenly.

We really need your support, I know you are a guy with a good soul alex...

Just to name a few; Elton John (LOVE their collaboration), Fall out Boy, onerepublic, Nicole from the pussycat dolls, she wants revenge, the hives, the list goes on.

I'm not a huge hip-hop fan at all, but my friends got me into his album Shock Value, it's a lot better than the artists he usually works with imo like justin, nelly, etc. I love Apologize (huge fan of the song before this cd), 2 man show with Elton & Kill Yourself (not the lyrics, just the music).

http://www.myspace.com/timbaland the songs on there dont do the cd justice, check it out on http://www.amazon.com
