Completely Off-Topic / Places to stay in Washington, DC?

Hey y'all,

I'm planning to spend a few days in DC early November and I'm trying to find a hotel there, decent and not over-priced.
I was told to stay away from the East and North-East part of Washington, DC.
So I guess Arlington is okay?
Any help would be appreciated!

Hey y'all!

I wasn't sure where to put that but I'm posting here (Katia, feel free to move my post if needed).
Okay, here's the deal: to make a long story short, I'm going to the UK in February to see 5 dates of Kelly Clarkson's tour there.
The thing is I booked a ticket for a show in Bournemouth but somehow the venue screwed my order and after several emails, they sold my ticket to someone else (because they never heard from me but I sent several emails and never got a reply!).
Sooooo, I was wondering if anyone here could hook me up with 1 (yes, only one!) ticket for the Kelly Clarkson show in Bournemouth, UK on Feb 25th 2006.
I'd be eternally grateful!!!!!

I've totally fallen in love with her music!!
So she's a Spanish singer who reprensented Spain for the Eurovision contest in 2003 if I remember correctly.
She has 2 cds out (Otra Realidad & Palau de la Musica Catalana) and a dvd (Palau de la Musica Catalana).
