funny, first thing i said to her was "i love the red lipstick!" and she told me what shade it was and who makes it, but now i can't remember. damn. anyway, she was amazing! i thought the crowd kinda sucked (not rude at all, just less than enthusiastic) but i guess maybe it was the whole watching-a-show-in-the-middle-of-a-store kinda thing. she is just the most awesome girl ever. seriously. she really does appreciate those of us who are still around. she signed my cd "dear nicole, always comforting to see you, love vanessa" and when she handed it to me she said, "i really mean that." i thought i was gonna cry.
