why does everyone keep saying we don't have a good recording of fair-weather friends? the one from the hotel cafe in la last march is pretty good. not perfect, but no worse than the other recordings we have...

ok i hope this works! the sound quality is not perfect. the battery on my good camera died during the 1st song so we had to use my sister's camera. they came out pretty good though. enjoy!

ok i'm back from the show. she only played for 45 minutes, almost the same amount of time as her opening act, but it was still amazing. it was in a very intimate room at a college, basically an auditorium. the seats only went back to row N, so you can imagine how small it was, and the sound was perfect. the crowd was mostly older people, i don't think most of them were big fans, but they all seemed really impressed with the show. she played mostly new songs (the ones we've heard) plus one she has never played before called 'carousel' and it was beautiful! she said the album will be out next spring. i talked to her after the show and i asked if she's doing any more shows soon and she said not til the spring. i will try to remember the set list, but it might not be 100% accurate...

thank you soo much for posting this. i nearly cried when i saw it. i got my tix - 3rd row center. not too bad. oh, and if you call and order them over the phone, they don't charge the service fees, just one $4 fee, and they mail them to you, where as on the website it is will call only. hope to see some of your faces!
