I finally watched this movie last night and literally laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes! I thought it was even funnier than "Along Came Polly" which was hillarious. I actually had to pause the dvd so I could fall off the couch laughing.

If there is already a thread for this will someone link them. :)

Completely Off-Topic / Muscle Spasms
« on: June 16, 2004, 02:27:51 pm »
I have had this annoying spasm in my right arm for 4 freaking days! It's getting old an annoying quick! They say they can be caused by stress, over use or dehydration. I drink water all day everyday so...

Anyone else get these often?

Other Musicians / Ben Kweller

His new cd is great! He was on tour with Ben Folds and Ben somebody else in Australia and it was called "The Bens" tour.

Ben Kweller used to be in a band called Radish from the Dallas area.

crazy movie that I finally got to watch. It was scary because I can remember being in some situations like that raving and partying in Dallas. Plus Fez from "That 70's Show" play Keoki, superstar dj Keoki whom I have hung out with in Dallas. I have most of his cd's. Plus seeing Macauley Culkin and Marylin Manson in the same movie was also odd.

Good movie, true story but wow 8O

anyone remember these guys? I don't think they are from the U.S.

Their biggest song was "I'm Not Growin' Old". Great piano on this cd. You peeps would like it. :D

Other Musicians / Velvet Revolver

Damn it's good to hear Slash again! Duff bustin' the bass as well! I loved Guns N' Roses! Matt Sorum on the drums from "The Cult"(who also kicked major boote' in their day. "Sanctuary!!!") Anyway, Scott Weiland of "Stone Temple Pilots" on vocals is another added bonus. I was gonna buy the cd yesterday but it was the edited version at walmart and I have to have the regular version. No editing for me!!!

I've had these guys' older cd's for awhile but they finally made it with their new cd. The video is great. It almost reminds me of a very happy "Talking Heads" song. They are on tour for Lollapalooza this year as well. That means they scored!

I've seen them once and got pics with the lead singer. He was super cool. I've been listening to them for years. They are really good live. Have any of you peeps outside the USA seen them live? Just wondering because they aren't from the USA.

That's why I haven't been around for awhile. I have to type with one hand because when I got hit by another car it shattered my elbow and broke my shoulder. I have some problem in my neck and spine that makes it hard to sit up or even get sleep at night. The pain pills don't help much at all. I hope when I get all the staples removed from my arm tomorrow that some of the irritation will stop. I'm really blessed. Somehow my little car kept me from getting hurt worse than I did. This jeep suv came all the way from across the other side of the hwy, crossed the middle with a ditch and still got up into on coming traffic and slammed in to the front driver's side of my car. It landed upside down behind my car and was barely missed by a semi.

I was in the hospital for 4 or 5 days and have been stuck in one position basically since I got home last Tuesday.

Hopefully since the wreck wasn't my fault their insurance will pay for my medical bills that are about $10,000.00. My Mazda mx3 is history so hopefully I will get a little bit for that as well.

What really sux is that I have missed so much class and I don't wanna get behind at the very end of the semester. I have been out of work and don't know if the insurance will pay for that either.

Well I hope to get back here soon. I gotta go for now cuz it hurts.

Peace,
Alecs

Other Musicians / PHISH
« on: February 22, 2004, 07:46:01 pm »
I've loved this band for awhile now and wondered if anyone else has seen them live. I saw them in Las Vegas a couple of years ago. They released that show on dvd. They are compared to the Grateful Dead and they are in the jam band scene like "Widespread Panic."

Phish put on an amzing show!!!
