The last time I went to go see her she would not sign anything unless you purchased merchandise there. She took some time before going to meet the fans. I think in her mind it was more of "meet the money" and leave. I have a feeling she'll act the same way, I would be surprised if she actually cared again! I would bring extra cash or credit to buy something that you can beg her to sign while she thinks it over.

I don't remember talking with you all that much, but what an accomplishment and I hope you keep on the path to recovery. Congratulations and stay strong along the way.

Not sure if I want to go. My roommate said she would want to go, but V's past attitude and concert disappointment is enough to make me want to skip out on any shows this tour.

This is unfortunate. The justice system fails again.

Ahh! Thank you so much.  ;D

I also lost my entire collection. PianoPlayer12's media files are not working for me. If anyone can upload these for me (I would greatly appreciate it!):

1. Big Yellow Taxi
2. Pretty Baby (Radio Version)
3. Superhero
4. Greensleeves
5. Best Behavior
6. Carnival

I know there are a few others I may need but cannot recall at this time. Thanks!

Hey Steph, you know I LOVE Cabaret and I would really like to go see that if it isn't too far in the SFV. Glad everything's going well!

I do feel like I am reading a lot about artists and actors coming out for attention but in this case I just don't believe it. Ever since she came out they tried to separate her from Michelle Branch and tried to portray her as the "good girl" artist type that I feel she's been trying hard to break away from. This will show people that she the person that record label corporate types have tried to make her out to be. I still think she's trying to separate her image but not clawing her way back to the top, she just has no interest in being at the top or in the public eye for as long as she's been out there performing. I've always loved that she was outspoken and honest, always the two. She may always feel like, "oops! maybe I should not have said that." but she stands by what she says as truth (bad moment, but true). She's always been a low key person, likes intimate crowds, and wants to get her music out there to the fans that have stood by her for so long. The media will say what they will but they haven't tracked her since Be not Nobody like we have, this isn't for publicity because Vanessa Carlton is not another Heidi Montag nutcase saying and doing anything to constantly be in front of the camera. She's talented and honest, so they can shove it as being a lie.

Entertainment - Movies / TV / Books / Re: Twilight Series
« on: June 21, 2010, 03:14:39 pm »
I've read a TON of Paranormal Romance novels and Stephenie Meyer is lame. Her books remind me of Amanda Ashley and Christine Feehan (much better writers). Strong Morman message in her books that I do not like, corny teenage drivel. I used to really like Kristen Stewart but lately the way she's been running her mouth with comments such as "being a celebrity is like being raped" what...whoa...really?! No. Someone needs to club her on the head because being raped is in no way like making millions of dollars with fans chasing after you because they love your work in film or music. She just seems so ungrateful, if she doesn't like it, she should take her money (that she has enough of) and go live in the woods. Robert Pattinsons acting is hysterical, the way he can't keep a straight or serious face, as if he's always trying to hold back a laugh (since the screenplay is awful). They are all laughing all the way to the bank. This saga/series is a joke and I'm glad I'm not part of this twilight craze.

Oldie here. Been a long time, that's for sure. I took some time off after high school and now four years later (yikes!) finishing up at a University of California. Still keep in touch with Will from here, not many others. I'm not really into the whole social networking thing, but I definitely have to get myself into it to hopefully work in the entertainment industry within the next few years and especially when it comes to internships in the biz. Hope everyone is doing well and I definitely miss you guys/gals and hope to have a little mini-reunion sometime in the future.

Saw this on omg! and she's one of the top searches on Yahoo!

Wow. A few years ago I probably wouldn't have agreed with this, but now after meeting all types from the LGBT community and becoming a lover of The L Word (Yay, TiBette!) makes me love her all over again. She may have been rude the last time I saw her in Chicago, but I now have rekindled feelings for V and cannot wait to see her perform again (maybe this time she'll be nicer, like most other times). My heart stopped and then started beating very quickly, she's just a gem and I'm glad she went public for all those who feel they can't, to be able look up to an artist who isn't just your typical straight artist is refreshing. She'll always be my number one lady love. :) Go V!

You did (and I appreciate it) but I was also interested in other opinions. I have never been able to really follow a work out dvd. I had a Tae Bo dvd and that didn't last. I drink a TON of water now, eating healthier, but I I want something that will challenge or push my limits.
