Some people pull it off well, others may not. I have curly hair but its not that bad where I straighten it and you can see a wave, I can do both well. I just can't pull off short hair because days when I don't feel like straightening it (at least an hour) I leave it down and it gets really curly and it makes me look and feel like a little girl (curly sue/shirley temple). I'm no hater!

I don't want to get married, ever. People who do are beyond me...but anyway, if people want to get married they can, just not in a church. That's where I stand on that, the Catholic church doesn't want it and that is separate. If the church allows it...then I would as well. Weird, but thats just how I feel.

I was baptized and raised a Catholic. Do I believe what the bible says? No. I was told by my family when I questioned my faith and some of the things I had been told/read (hell, sins) that I would be disowned if I decided to pursue a different religion. I still say I'm Catholic, but I believe what I believe. I don't believe in Hell, I believe we will all be forgiven and loved when it is time to go home to heaven. We all have a purpose and God made everyone different, but loves us all the same, even if we may not at times. Maybe you should look into other religions, or go off of what YOU believe.

Vanessa is a pretty solid Democrat.  She's campaigned for several dems and even attended the national conventions.

throw a sign at her?  Yup, thats a compassionate conservative.  *lol*

I know she is. Not all of us are "compassionate conservatives" I am going to do whatever it takes to make sure Barack Obama does not get elected, even if that means voting for McCain.  :wink:

Anyone know what's up with Schuyler and Joshua Radin? Did they have a fall out? Anyway...I saw her on Saturday night at the Hotel Cafe. Her family was there.

She went on at like 11ish (she was supposed to be on at 10p). I was waiting with my friends and someone taps me on the shoulder to get to the stage and who was it? Schuyler! For some reason there was a lot of tech issues getting things to work, but she was phenomenal. I can't stop listening to the EP, although I wish she would have played more of her older stuff. Most of the songs were new from the upcoming record.

I'm probably going to be at the Hermosa Beach show if anyone wants to meet up for it? Definitely check her out!!

I agree. The dress is nice but I think she could have done without the knee high stockings. She looks good though.

Be Not Nobody in my opinion was the best Vanessa Carlton that I was ever exposed to, musically. Harmonium was okay, some songs that were just too pop for me but others were good. Heroes & Thieves was very very disappointing. I hardly ever listen to it, when I do I listen to the actual song Heroes and Thieves, Home, or More than this. Everything else is just plastic. I was listening to BnN again the other day, I have never gotten sick of that CD. I miss that side of Vanessa deeply...her tours are not what they used to be and I feel like I'm becoming less of a fan because of the direction she is choosing to go. I don't know who she is anymore and that does make me really upset, she was my hope and inspiration for so many years.  :cry:

Well I've never done that...growing up my family always told me that they were just like everyone else. They were probably trying to have a good time, sure they love their fans, but I'm sure they just want to get away from cameras, screaming teens, and people who just want to be in the spotlight with them. I wonder if they are really dating? I've heard rumors that Nikki Reed and Robert Pattinson were going out. Oh the gossip... :roll:

I was at the Hotel Cafe last night (where Meiko got her start) to see Schuyler Fisk and I saw Nikki Reed (Rosalie) and Robert Pattinson (Edward) coming out. Robert Pattinson had CRAZY wild hair, sort of a beard going on, and he seemed kind of buzzed or just wild. Nikki Reed was quiet with some of her friends just talking outside. I didn't go up to them or bug them, I'm sure they don't like that. Just thought I'd let ya know!
