Yeah it is amazing that some people still stay in contact with each other.  I do miss the old days.  There were a lot of great people I have gotten to know personally and that is what made those long travels worth it.  I miss it!

Some people are still around.  Once in a while I will hear from some old school folks via Facebook.  It was good times then.

Great reviews. I am enjoying watching some of the videos that have found their way to youtube.

I realize I haven't seen V in almost two years. That is kind of sad. She needs to make her way to Chicago or something if she doesn't do a full fledged tour soon.

Two Years B?  Thats nothing!  I don't think I have seen her in 6 years!  Damn is that right?  I can't wait for the tour because I may make it to one of these shows

Completely Off-Topic / New iPods

Well I guess everyone has their favorite MP3 Player.  iPods are now really going past the MP3 player stage.  It is now a gaming, email, video, wifi, and now a platform for all kinds of new applications (which are amazing by the way).  Ghis you are right about iTunes though....it needs to be DRM free real soon.  Amazon is catching up.  That is my only complaint about iTunes.  The touch and the iPhone are incredible.  I have had 2 iPhones since launch (the original and 3G) and I think that it is the most incredible device I have ever used.  Others will be out soon though with Google's Android.  I am anxious to see what that will do for competition.

I have to agree with B.  She was out way too long with out a hit record and simply said "forgotten".  She had two major hits, came with a followup record that was classic and her label just put her on back burner for the money makers of the label.  If Harmonium did better or produced even one hit, it would have not been as hard to come back.  I also agree with Brian in that "Private Radio" should of been a top 10 hit for Harmonium.  Radio should of eaten that up.  In the end that is what fans are for.  To encourage her and to make her feel appreciated in this tough and cut throat business that is 100% Dollar Driven.  I always had mixed feelings about the IRV issue even though some had some high hopes.  He was also trying to make a comeback and so she was already on a sinking ship.  I thought it would get her some publicity but it just really did not work.  I hope this next album she just has that one hit to really just put her back in the spotlight.  Unfortunately she will just have to make some of her music a little more radio friendly.  Even though I don't agree with that, for I think you should always keep your music true to yourself, it might be what she HAS to do from just being a one hit wonder.

Live Shows / 07/30/08: Irving Plaza NYC (review)

Wow this is getting pretty heated!
I agree Let the F'you's are uncalled for.  Everyone is entitled to their review but we as fans also are entitled to defend Vanessa as well.  Poor V, looks like some of these shows are not going her way.  I feel bad for I could not attend the Nashville (my local) show to give her my support.  I am sure she can use all the support she can get right now.  I appreciate the people that are always supporting her on a continual basis and letting her know we care.
Vanessa has such tremendous talent but she is cursed with constant bad marketing and the much needed support of her label.  What a waste of talent in my opinion.....

I remember the way there were the cameras in HOB!
I regret not seeing this show.  I couldn't be there and it was out of my control.  I haven't seen V since London.  So long ago!  I hope I get another chance.

Like a A-hole I missed her show when she was in Nashville.  I regret is so much because She is now my favorite artist.  I have to say she is the most talented artist to surface in the 2000's and I can't believe I missed her.  I hope she comes back around here.  I like the new hair she is sporting!  She is a little tom boy-ish but there she looks great!
