ok so this guy for sure has the record, i've contacted him and he told be to be patient haha. i guess he has something to do with "Dine Alone Records".
he also said somewhere that "Nothing Where Something Used To Be" is one of his favorites (i guess it was on Vanessa's instagram video with the song).

well im not sure if he really is involved with the release of Liberman (think he does though), but i dont think he would say "its coming" if he didnt know

just so we can get a bit crazier

he's not affiliated with the record company. he actually used to be one of vanessa's pr people a long time ago, so they're friends now.. he knows her personally, but i honestly don't think anything will come from it, just leave him alone, mike's a cool guy, but he won't share anything early if he even has it at all. (which I don't think he does) :-p

I'd have to find the recording again, but she mentioned during a live show, it was the name of a book, or movie or tv show or something that she drew inspiration from.

so "do it" became "nothing where something used to be"!

I got an email from the website NoiseTrade today.

Is it the artwork from her grandfather's "nudie" painting? The colors seem similar.

I can pinpoint the exact spot on the painting the album artwork was taken from.
0:23 - 0:24 = good lighting, you can tell from this

also, looking over the artists page for dine alone records, there are a few big names in there, most notably ones i've heard of: ...and you will know us by the trail of dead, alexisonfire, at the drive-in, city and colour,  jimmy eat world, kate nash, marilyn manson, the lumineers, twin forks (singer from dashboard confessional's new band), we are scientists......
hopefully this record label will be good for Vanessa and she finally gets that spark in popularity again.... she really deserves it.

Can someone see the tracklist on her computer? My eyes or screen resolution aren't good enough. I can see "Ascension" as number 9 though. Does this match the tentative tracklist we made out of her tweets?

the song she's playing only reads "Vanessa Carlton" haha. but yes, Ascension is the one before it, so this one is probably "Blue Pool", "Nothing Where Something Used To Be" or "River"

I can confirm the clip isn't the song Ascension OR Blue Pool.
