I was always the optimist
Seeing the glass as half full
I drown in that glass now
unaware of my shortcomings...
thinking life was safe to drink from
I'd rather die of thirst with the
half empty glass then try optimisim again
and you....
You were standing on the cliff
i saw you there
you were falling
i couldn't catch you
but somebody else did
you labled him "your hero"
and you road off into the sunset
with "the end" written in the foreground..
i was powerless to stop it
i watched you fall...
could i not catch you in time?
reverse the months
reverse the days
reverse the hours
reverse the minutes and seconds
reverse the conclusion
and there you are with me again...
as if you never left
