LOL this is funny. I think it's the paper trying to make something out of nothing. I've heard Nessa jokingly say how she has more than one song on numerous occasions. We all know she doesn't do it out of ego, it's just that she's only known for ATM and that's how she tells people for the billionth time that that song doesn't define her.

And I think Vanessa naturally has a slight cackle to her laugh. It's more of a giggle though. It's cute.

I'm so excited! I can't believe we're finally about to get her third album! I know it'll be great. I am disappointed about "Best Behavior" and "All is Well," as I like those songs a lot, but I guess I'll just have to live with it. I would have preferred either of those to "This Time" to be honest.

I find it interesting that V has a song called "Home" because I tend to love songs with that title. I love Michael Buble's, the one from the broadway version of Beauty and the Beast, and a bunch of other ones with Home in the title. I haven't heard V's yet though. Is there a live recording of it out? *goes to check*

OCT 9 might be the best day of my year.

I like the song and I like the "Hey!" When she says it, I picture her in NoLIta saying hi to a neighbor. It's friendly and fits the song.

I think I can understand where the "childish" comments come from, because her chords and rhythms are often pretty simplistic and harmonically bright, but I think Nessa deliberately puts some of her music to wistful, light music for juxtaposition. I often find her lyrics to be very mature. And even if this song is not very complex, I still enjoy the pleasant, "fairytale" feel.

I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get her new album in the Spring like we originally thought, but we Nessaholics are patient. I can certainly wait a few more months.

I'm not sure about that statement but I know for sure we'll all wait, no matter how long, until it comes out.

Lol, maybe I should instead say that patience is a virtue for Nessaholics. Individually, we have it in varying degrees, but I think the fact that we stick around and are so dedicated to V even through the long periods between her album releases shows some sort of patience.

Hi, everyone! It's so great to have a new Vanessa song! I like it. I was a little surprised how personal and factual it was because not everyone's going to be familiar with what the lyrics mean. I'm really hoping this single does well for V, though. I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get her new album in the Spring like we originally thought, but we Nessaholics are patient. I can certainly wait a few more months. I'm still so excited, though! I love her so much! I always have!

I believe vanessa has a larger solid fan base than most people realize.  Most of them have lives and consist of a LOT of musicians and other artists.  I run into people online all the time who have never posted anywhere but admire her very much.  I guess it is more of a lot of people who admire her work that are out there and kind of latent because they are normal people with things to do.  But they do ask about the up coming album.  I mean she doesn't put albums out very often, so it is pretty impressive she has that many people still following her years later.

Are you saying we aren't normal? Lol. j/k I know what you mean.

Hmm, I've never heard that before, thanks for sharing. I can't say I prefer it, though. I hate when her songs sound clunky. It seems a little slower than usual and the drums' persistent beat makes it sound clunky. Kinda like C'est La Vie.

What got edited  in White Houses?

I think the edit in WH he's referring to was the change of "rush of blood" to "rush of ______." And in Pretty Baby they cut out where she ductaped her guy to a chair or something. Nessa sure is controversial.

I don't even have the video files anymore. trust me.. they're kind of worthless, except for I think someone said you can see Victor for a second. I didn't even watch. The point was to get the audio, without anybody knowing we were recording. So, if you wanted to watch the vid, maybe somebody else can help you out, but here are the mp3s of the songs, if that's what you're looking for.
