Peace be with you! I'm not Israeli or Jewish myself, but I do have a great admiration for Israel and the Jewish people, as you can probably tell from my screen name. I had actually wanted to learn Hebrew once, but I didn't have the time. Maybe someday I will, and when I do, my goal will be to be able to read and speak Modern Hebrew as well as to read and understand the Tanakh (without interlinear translations, of course).
