here's a video i took of this song last night in DC, for anyone who hasn't checked the tour thread.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IBNBK39_m4

lyrics ...

And some people live in a house on a hill
And they wish they were someplace else
There's nobody there when the evening is still
Secrets with no one to tell

And some I have known
Have a ship where they sleep
With sounds of rocks on the coast
And sail over oceans five fathoms deep
But can't find what they want the most

And even now, when I'm alone
I've always known, with you, I am home

Some live in towns
Cardboard shack on concrete
All blustered, and busteling life
And search for the color you can never quite see
'Cause it's all white on white

And even now, when I'm alone
I've always known, with you, I am home
And even now, when I'm alone
I've always known, with you, I am home

For me, it's a glance
And a smile on your face
And a touch of your hands
An honest embrace

For where I lay, it's you I keep
This changing world, I fall asleep
With you, all I know is
I'm coming home, coming home

oh man, at the end after she sings "I'm coming home, coming home" then pounds on the keys, i can only imagine the string accompaniment going on in the album track. 'Twill be beautiful. The song is beautiful

true I can't wait to hear the album/studio version.

Current takes me out, what will be, will be. Floating on the sea, stars are watching me.

well to me it kinda made sense to only have it five fathoms deep. since she sings "and sail over oceans five fathoms deep, but can't find what they want the most" and when i hear that i assume that she means that even looking through shallow oceans, they still can't seem to find what they're dying to find. almost like thinking that something obvious is easy to find when sometimes it can be very difficult. i don't know, that's probably wrong but it's a guess right? lol.
