That's pretty hot, actually.

Sampling rock, pop, etc. beats is pretty common in hip hop. Eminem did it with Dido's "Thank You", Diddy has sampled many-a-beat, such as a Jimmy Page song for the song he did on the Godzilla soundtrack.

I wouldn't be surprised if V got some royalties off of it if it ever sells hardcore.

I think they made it fit quite well. It was not just some random riff in the song. but I can not listen to this song. soooo not what I listen to! ugh I will not be able to hear ATM for a while b/c of this! I am going to have his voice playing at the back of my head if I listen to ATM. hehehe The one thing I don't like is they pretty much stole the song. Its not just piano but the strings and even the style of the girls voice on the chorus goes with the song.
