Just wanted to ask if anyone could help me... I forgot what password I used for another forum and now I can't sign in (I know, I'm thick!). So I need to sign up for another account but it will only accept a server email address, so I can't use my own, (cos I already used it for the first account which I now can't use) so does anyone mind telling me their server email address (like the one used with a program like outlook express) so I can just use it to sign up, then I can change it... thanks!

ps. the stupid forum doesn't have a password reminder question :roll:

No, I can't because they send an email to it to verify that it is real... they are *so* paranoid and strict with rules you wouldn't believe. :roll:

then just start a new email address and varify your email and then forget about that email address...

or if you can browse the board without logging in, look for a mod, check the mods profile....find the email address of the mod....and ask them to look it up...

but I can't cos they don't allow web based email addresses for some stupid reason, you need to use the one that you were given by your server, you know like the one used in outlook express...

try e-mailing someone and getting your password, just give them all your information...

or try to remember the password.

What the heck do you mean by that? I did use my Yahoo! address in Outlook (and then Mail.app) when POP was free. My ATTBI address has always had a web mail interface.

Servers are the only way to send and recieve e-mail. And unless you have a webhost (most people don't), then there is no "your server," save whatever e-mail server you use (Yahoo! and Hotmail use servers too).

So what you are saying is that they block Yahoo! and Hotmail addresses? Ehh... go do a search on the web for "free webmail." There are plenty of them, and your board can't block them all. But, if they are stupid enough to block Hotmail and Yahoo!, what the heck are you doing on that site? Not worth it.....

Yea, I tried going somewhere, and use my e-mail, and it's hotmail, it wasn't allowed.

The rule was something like they are not a secure server. or something fun like that.
