So I got the August issue of Alternative Press today (which is a sweet magazine if you like punk, hardcore, etc) and on the last page they always have a "Top 10" something or other. This months top 10 was the top 10 guilty pleasure CDs. Meech's The Spirit Room got 5% of the vote, and this is what the people at AP said.
"This one made us happy, 'cause it's got that "A Thousand Miles" song that makes us misty every time we hear it over the grocery-store PA and...wait, you mean thats Vanessa Carlton? So, who's Michelle Branch? Whatever- you try writing about this crap and keeping your facts straight."
I love Nessa with all my heart, but I just cracked up when I read this.
