I was cleaning my room a few weeks ago and ran across some of the older things I had been writing down just about my daily life and how I had hoped that when I'd read it later it would have changed. Anyways, I ran across a poem I had totally forgotten I'd wrote... And I don't think I've posted it in here so I think I'll do that now, ... haha, I've been putting this off for sometime now.
CONSEQUENCESLiving and walking
In the dark
Holding onto dreams
That weight down on thin ice
Hoping and dreaming
For a change
Searching for the strength
To pull me through this day
And I blew it
One mistake makes it all
Swirl down the drain
In an endless cycle of regret
And I fall through
Broken ice by choices
Unwisely made
Oh and hey guys! I'm starting a new song on the piano! It'll probably take me months to get it to the point of even sounding like "something" but I was thinking that maybe I could combine some of my poems or at least the general gist of them since they're all pretty much about the same things... Just thought I'd share that with you.
