I need advice from Freakin' Admin/Mods

Anyways, my LP board ( http://lpmb.proboards20.com ) has become pretty active latly and I have this one LP loving friend Alyssa. She used the be the kindess coolest poster on the board, but recently something really bad happened to her and she's just been a mess.

She's been talking shit, breaking every rule she can find, and posting stuff like this, acting as a fiction of talking to one of the band members...

Alyssa: Rob will you shoot me?
Rob: Yes! Thank goodness your FINALLY going to die!
*shoot Alyssa*

And I keep going through and editing those, and she just keeps posting. But I don't want to ban her, because I'm not sure if I can bring her back when she snaps out of whatever happened to her.

So what should I do?

I thought about changing her password, but I want her to be able to post and ask for our help when she needs it, because she is obviously having a very hard time...

also i'll try to hang around the board more so i'll try to mod the bad stuff if i can..

It's not about her getting mad, honestly right now I don't care if she gets mad.

But we made the nice thread about her hoping to help her snap out of it, but just over these last two days she's been completly different.

I'm just tired of her posting all that crap.

i'd take it offline... AIM/PM/Phone and reach out.  If she doesn't want to "talk" through one of those other methods i'd tell her that the current plan is to ban her but you wanted to talk about things before going to something that drastic.  *shrug*

you can't help people unless they want to help themselves tho

Yeah I tried talking to her on AIM but it didn't work...

Does this sound good:

PM her and tell her if she does any of that again I'll change her password, that way she can still browse the boards and see our love thread for her. Then when she is back she can email me and I'll give her the password.

She's getting this PM as a result of putting a picture of slit wrists in her sig.

Dear Alyssa,

The stuff you are doing is inappropriate for the younger posters on this board.

This is your last warning to stop.

One more offence and I will change your password. You won't be banned because I am hoping that soon you will return to your normal self, the kind loving good friend Alyssa I used to know.

When you've come back to your senses you can email me and I will give you your new password, and if you continute to break the rules your punishment will be determined then.

It really pains me to see you acting like this, it's really hard one me watching my friend fall apart.

I'm hoping you'll be back with us soon, remember your password won't be changed unless you break the rules again. And a picture of slit wrists is definatly not appropriate especially for a sig that will be attached to all your posts.
