decent blogs?

hey all,

i'm looking for recomendations on a blog, like all the various ones out there.  I want to be able to imbed it into my website nicely.  I'm considering just writing one myself since the coding is fairly simple, but i thought i'd first check on if anyone has recomendations.  I want to be able to post, and have others respond... duh

Well, I use blogger for vanessafanatic.com.

You can write your own template and completely integrate it into your page. What it will do is upload your updated page to your server via (s)ftp after every time you update.
