I recently got addicted to an Onlilne game; dark age of Camelot

Gold (1st one)
Shrouded Isles (2nd expansion)
Trials of Atlantis (3rd expansion)
Catacombs (4th expansion)...and finally....
DARKNESS RISING (5th expansion)
in order to play DR you have to have all of them, and there is a monthly fee blah blah blah

I wanted to know if anyone else plays DAoC? I'm just starting to level up my Eldritch, (specs in void) and I want to play with some peeps

I have vent too, so if you have a mic, I have 20 slots on my Ventrilo so we can talk while in game!

WoW??? Why?!? lol

Uhm yeah its similar, you pay a monthly fee, but its more intense. lots of servers.

each server you must start a new character and level it up. WoW is really easy to play and level up, DAoC is different and more intense.

I'm in Mordred right now which is PVP (player vs player as you know...) and you really gotta get used to dying. I hate when level 40-50s just come up and hit me and kill me because I'm grey/gray to them which is no experience what so ever

its harder and better, if you play WoW you'll love this game more...hopefully if not then :-p

Who knows, if the expansion suks ill probably just wait for DDO to release tho.  If you like daoc more than wow you are definitely prone to liking DDO.

The only problem with the game i see now is it wont have PVP at release and may never.  Nothing is more exciting in the game than running into an enemy in the field.

I stopped playing DAoC because my bf told me of some really crappy stuff regarding their newest expansion, Darkness Rising.

We played on the 'freeshard servers' completely free, and there was one where you could instant level 50, all that jazz and so much more, but it wasn't all that fun because it always crashed, people leeched like every kill, etc...

So now he bought me World of Warcraft for Xmas. I love it. So much easier than DAoC.

I have a level 11 Night Elf Hunter on Spirestone, but we just moved over to Drak'Thul, I'm trying to level up a Warlock, so far I like the Warlock, anything with a pet is great!

We should group sometime. If you guys still play :)

I used to play The Legend of Mir, I think it's a similar idea, but I just don't have the time now.
