Come on, tell me that I'm not the only one that can't wait for new episodes of this incredible CTV masterpiece... as if degrassi weren't great enough toronto sent us the saga of canadian instant star (american idol-esqe) winner Jude Harrison's rise to fame --- I love it and dude - the music is superb!

No, you are not the only one! While I find Instant Star to be rediculously cheesy.. I watched the first season on repeats all summer last year. It's kind of a fun concept.  Haha and I totally forgot about that show...

there is a link... it's a tv show - a drama about a girl that wins an "idol" like contest and her life after the competition - making albums, concerts, and her family... the music is great ---- the show is cheesey - but you can tell that the writers are musicians because there is a lot of intimate music details like mic talk, recording speak, etc - that only musicians would really appreciate...

The character's name is Jude Harrison but the actress/singer that plays her is named Alexz Johnson....
