I think Vanessa is deeper than that... haha, have you heard any of her music? she's a pretty deep and creative chick! I seriously doubt "White Houses" is about a painter painting houses white.
Deep? Ehhh. Creative? Ehhh. All her lyrics seem a bit cliche, to me. All so generic. Maybe not so noticeable at first, but you catch on quickly. When it comes down ot it, the fact of the matter, is the piano is the shiznat. That's all it is.
PS I totally dig Sam's idea for the video. Seriously. You know how much publicity Vanessa would get for being "the girl who has the video with nothing but guys painting houses white"? People would think it was so bizarre and BAD they'd play it and overplay it, so everyone got a taste of the . . . terribility . . . in the video, then it would become well-known. I mean, isn't that reverse-something (not psychology)? People do shit like that all the time to become known. It's almost kind of but not actually like the "fan" of Lennon who shot him so he could become a part of Lennon's "life."
She'd become famous, yet again.
