The name is going to be in Portuguese " Turistas ", And I'm sort of not likin' it... really... if I could, I wouldn't let them release it.. but what can I do

Most of Brazilians are sad and feeling such a shame about it... cos it's gonna leave Brazil's fame more DIRTY..

The journalist, the brazilian journalist asked people from the UNITED STATES what they think of Brazil....... and they said...

" Beautiful women "
" Caipirinha "
" Forests "
" Poor things "

and now it's going to be " Dangerous "

The film is about some chaps and sheilas that come to Brazil, and they're fooled and dead.. many bad things happen to them.. and it's going to show how the TURISTAS are robbed...

Well.. at this point, I can't disagree cos

YOU TURISTAS when you come to Brazil..., you come like CHRISTMAS TIME.... Always shining

With a big hat, a golden watch, a sort of clothes that I've never seen and with a big DIGITAL CAMERA hanging on your necks...

HOW DON'T YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED?

But, I hope this film doesn't make you think that Brazil is the worst place to be and live..

Well... just UNITED STATES to make an idiot thing like this

And yeah.. Most of Brazilians don't like Americans.. for many reasons.. but let's keep it easy.. let's just discuss about the film

And, no.. you won't be raped

Cos the rapers don't look for americans, they are so white, no body, no nothing

They want Brazilians and Latins with a hot body, hot colour like Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and etc

Cos, they'd be afraid to break the bones

I didn't watch the film yet, but people here that watched said that the Brazilians in the film speak Spanish... hmm.. that's wrong, everyone thinks that, just like they think brazilian women are prostitute and we just drink Caipirinha..... but We speak PORTUGUESE, The official language of Brazil, it came from Portugal.. Okay?

This movie came out on DVD yesterday. I watched it last night. I couldn't tell you if for sure they were speaking Spanish or Portuguese but they did say in the movie that the language of the country is Portuguese.

I don't recall it every saying it was true story. It was a movie. Although, I can totally see how easy that could happen to them.

It was ok. Not scary mostly bloody.

I didn't watched this movie yet... but... well... as the Brazilian that I am... i think that people had overreacted about this movie... coz... you know? it's just a movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will note fear to go to Washington just because... you know... the ETs destroyed everything (Idependence Day?!)... I guess people are mature enough to know what's truth and what's not....

but just in case... the chances of you americans be robbed here in Brazil are the same of americans be robbed in USA... :wink:
