...it looks like the only thread on this was deleted instead of moved to the correct section...

oh well I guess, I'll just start the new one then...

heres what I tried to reply with:

I just saw this movie last night, and... yes, it was good =)

i wanted more closure for an ending, but the movie overall was great.

I enjoyed the emo spiderman look, it was funny. :D

I felt the same. I didn't like the end, I felt that there was too much that hadn't finished with some of the characters.

Great action, and definitely laughed my ass off with the emo look and dancing on the street.

I thought that the movie was great when it was a comedy, corny as a drama, and mediocre as an action movie. But the scene at the jazz bar where Kiki Drunkst was about to sing and Parker got on the piano and starting dancing across tables and stuff had me like rolling on the floor. And the emo flip of the hair was GREAT! And also when he was walking down the NY streets disco-dancing was funny. There were a couple times when I looked over at my friends and said, "Are you guys watching the same movie as me?"

A couple friends in my dorm came up to me and told me not to see it because the movie doesn't follow the original comic well enough. Was I supposed to have read the comics? I thought those things were ancient entertainment....  :?

good...here's hoping they'll make a fourth with everyone returning.   naturally i'd be against going into a fourth film, but the Spider-man films have been nothing but amazing movies, so i'd be up for one more if they decide to do one

Say that again later on tonight and we'll see.

I heard Mandy Moore's talking about playing MJ in Spidey 4 cause Kiki Drunkst doesn't want to return.

This is supposed to be the last Spider-Man film. They all only signed contracts to do three movies. So I doubt they will return with a fourth.
Tobey Maguire even said it was a nice way to finish things up, and they won't be returning for anymore sequels.
They should do a whole new cast if they do make another Spider-Man film though.
Is it because Kirsten Dunst broke up with Jake, who is best friends with Tobey Maguire? Maybe that created tension on the set.

The emo spidey was ridiculous...worst...ABSOLUTE WORST...part of the movie.   It would've been so so much better if the dark peter parker was in fact dark...having him dance down the street, that was just corny...

topher grace was the wrong choice for Venom...they needed someone better to play that part.

thomas church as sandman was great, wish the villains had more screen time.

not the best spidey film but enjoyed the action, and had a bunch of laughs.

Wait... Topher Grace is the villain? That's just silly. I can't see him really escaping the chick flick role.
