i'm myspace inept..
why would they delete "fan spaces"?
I think it must be the reason that natalie/amberbeads said.
I know that it seems like it should be okay if the music you post isn't downloadable, but when you do to upload music it does say that you must own the copright to any music you upload. However, you can "add" a song to your profile if you have a personal page, which is perfectly fine.
If you want to make a new fanspace for nessa, my suggestion would be to make it a personal page instead of a "band" page, and then instead of having a music player you can just add one vanessa song, which should be okay. Then maybe give it a name without the word "fan" or "fanspace" in it; maybe something to do with a lyric or anything vanessa-related.
I don't know if it would make a difference, but if you want to try it might!
Having said that though, like you said, there are COUNTLESS other fansites. For example Evanescence have numerous fan pages WITH music players, so I have no idea why they picked on you!
I don't see what is wrong with it at all. Also, with so many people on myspace pretending to be celebrities (usually not doing a good job of convincing anyone), why should it matter if you put up a fan page?
Oh well I hope my idea works if you want to give it a try.
