Okay... we have a reading club at school, and one of the books to read was called 'Safe as Houses' by Eric Walters. Anyone else heard of it? It's one of the most amazing books ever to hit the shelves! It's so intense, because it's about some children trying to escape their flooding house when 'Hurricane Hazel' hit Southern Ontario in 1954. Who else loved it (if you've heard of it). Im not sure if they have it in the US or other countries or not, because it's Canadian. But if you do know about it, talk to me
I met Eric Walters today..he's so nice and I told him how much I love his book. He also has others, including one called 'We all Fall Down' which involves I think the 9/11 attacks from 2001..but Im not sure.
