iPod help.

ok so during the winter my iPod went crazy. I would charge it a full charge and die within the amout it took to play one song. Than as it started to get warmer outside it stoped. Than one day I plug my iPod into my computer to sync some new songs and I go to listenn to them and everything is off of my iPod. All my music videos, songs, etc all gone. So I go to plug it in again and Windows won't recognize the iPod. its only after I unplug it that iTunes pops up saying it can't sync the iPod. Help? does it cost much to repair iPods if I take it to an apple store?!?!?!

Get a real mp3 player instead! 

(or maybe take it to an Apple store if you REALLY want to stick with it I guess?)

My ipod was doing the same thing where it would say it couldnt be recognized and my ipod would freeze up constantly. I finally connected it to a different comp with itunes and it was recognized. There's an option on Itunes where you can restore the ipod to its original state and erase everything on it. That worked for me and now I haven't had a problem since. If the ipod is under warranty, however, the apple store will fix it for free.

so it is with todays mass-produced technology! Try to get a figure from Apple on the number of ipods made
each second and see how close they get... whilst we are in an era of super-conductors, micro-electronics
that are currently being manufactured at a rate that can hardly satisfy demand, will always be made using
technology that is cost-effective rather that the best-available technology (including battery & stand-by
times). If you're wondering how soon it will be before things get interesting get a copy of Bladerunner out!
