So, while I'm not an aspiring singer or anything, I've been taking piano lessons for 9 years and violin for 4, and I've always been kind of artsy. So recently I've been writing songs and some music. They're nothing big, but I'd like some input / harsh critique on one of them. Thanks in advance. <3
Before
It’s always calm before the storm, autumn breeze can’t hide the sound
Of the winter soon to come, seasons change before they’re done,
And I’m dying, dying to escape the sun,
You turn to me, you say you promise;
And white turns black and back to white,
The moon calls out into the tide,
And I’m falling, away, somewhere
I’ll say I’m fine but I feel alone
Before the storm
When winter melts in to the spring,
Nothing’s what I think, oh no.
You swore that you would never leave,
But you fell out from our tree
And I just want someone to grow back where you had left
And white turns black and back to white,
The moon calls out into the tide,
And I’m falling, away, somewhere
I’ll say I’m fine but I feel alone
Before the storm
*Cough* Told you. Nothing special. xD
