US artist Michelle Branch is returning to Australia in August to support the release of her anticipated third album Hotel Paper this time with full band.
After wowing Australian audiences in 2001 with her acoustic sets, Michelle Branch returned home to record her third album Hotel Paper - the follow-up to her multi-Platinum worldwide smash The Spirit Room (an album that spent 82 weeks on Billboard Top 100 Charts).
Along the way Michelle has toured with The Dixie Chicks and Sheryl Crow (who she collaborates with on the new album), done guest vocals on the Santana hit The Game Of Love (GOLD in Australia – and featured as a bonus track on Hotel Paper) and picked up Grammy and MTV Awards. Her worldwide album sales are already approaching 3 million copies – not bad going for a 20 year old!
Now Michelle Branch returns to the airwaves with Are You Happy Now - the lead single from her new album. Are You Happy Now this week sits at #17 on the Australian airplay charts (up from #35), after being the #1 Most Added Track to US radio (HOT AC) the week of service, #15 Top 40, it moves into the top 30 on the Billboard charts this week.
The album Hotel Paper debuted at #2 on the US Billboard and is released in Australia this week.
